While I agree that the number of Palestinian casualties are grossly disproportionate, that does not excuse the Hamas rocket attacks, which also constitute a violation of fundamental human rights.

Yes exactly. Where are the human rights Israel has repeatedly denied to the innocent citizens of Palestine? Walling them in, cutting off their access to the necessities of life, killing indiscriminately, using arms that violate the Geneva Conventions, ignoring borders and building illegal settlements, blatantly disregarding UN resolutions; and ultimately undermining the universal declaration of human rights! The word "outrage" doesn't even begin to cover it.

The Hamas rocket attacks ARE an outrage, they also represent a tactically defective strategy that will only lead to more civilian casualties. These are problems that can't be solved by more violations of human rights.

If you take a look at the world, there are far more instances of lasting peace than lasting war. Fundamental human rights and the social equality that they generate is the only thing that can create a lasting peace.

Okay, if there's a willingness for intercultural concord. But when cultures of too wide a disparity are forced via the contrivance of Human Rights to tolerate the intolerable, the argument fails, as surely as when Human Rights are cynically employed to strengthen an inferior hand. Israel is not claiming perfection even if Israelis may wish to consider themselves the sharpest tool in the box, but Hamas [is] culturally inferior & the invocation of Human Rights on their behalf is akin to suicide.

I guess you don't understand the concept of fundamental human rights. Nor have you made the connection that once you deny them to others you potentially lose them yourself. It's not the rights of Hamas that you are protecting, it's your own. Culture is just people, individuals commit crimes not groups, and all people deserve human rights. If you are calling groups of people inferior then you are nothing but a bigot.

Too many people fail to realize that giving one group special rights for things like Skin Color is just discriminating against every one else.

Someone asked me in my vid the other day what the answer was. I said it's in taking on the notion that any of our physical, philosophical, or religious differences justify treating these others in a way we wouldn't accept for a member of our own group. In truly believing that what is good for the person who looks like me, thinks like I do, and goes to my church is equally good for the person who looks nothing like me, and whose beliefs are the opposite of mine.
