  • Is this your real hair?

  • Yur a really pretty blackk girl:)

I love your hair in all your videos

  • @Ebnoy101 this comment would be extremely genuine if you kept the comment at your a really pretty girl! :(

  • Why don't you oil your scalp with like olive or coconut oil or something or try Shea butter it's really good

  • And also just to let you know. If you want your hair to be extremely moist, you should use WEN conditioning shampoo. It is pretty expensive but it is freaking worth every single penny for sure. I am a black woman. Every single Shampoo makes my hair so freaking dry. It feels so weird and it shribbles so bad. Wen makes black hair so soft, and smooth, and curly you can actually comb through it. Look up Wen online. It is a really good product. My ends dont fall off or anything. I strongly recommend

  • You should use tea tree oil. It is most definitely good for dryness. Tea Tree oil is very very very good. Use the general one for your body and the hair oil kind, of course for your hair.

  • so... you do not reccommend that hair?

  • this hairstyle is beautiful on you!!!

  • E45 is the bomb!

It helped me so much when i had eczema! my british friend. loool i sound like a loser, I love your weave! I did a side parting but I'm not really liking mine, seeing as I'm on my natural hair journey I havent relaxed my exposed hair so I keep straightnening it, so I'm not pleased, but anywho I loved the vid despiste the whole purpose of it :( you looked stunning.

  • I suffer from this also..the eczema attacks are constant. Moisturizing my scalp actually worsens the itching and flaking.

  • I suffer from this also..the eczema attacks are constant. Moisturizing my scalp actually worsens the itching and flaking.

  • Also i would suggest you go natural and not use relaxers in your hair as this will make your scalp a lot worse!! Did you know that Lye relaxers are stronger than household bleach!!

  • I developed eczema on my scalp when I became pregnant 12 years ago and tried everything on the market but nothing worked!!! My scalp used to develop large crusts and flakes on my scalp it was awful!! I had to wash my hair every 2 days!! .... until I tried Dead Sea shampoo and conditioner, after 3 days it cleared my eczema on my scalp and made my hair super soft. Now I wash my hair every 2 weeks now!! Amazing!!

  • Sorry to hear about your eczema crises (although I am a bit late). I also have eczema and know that eczema is always in your blood stream (more or less), so it is good to always to very very aware of what you use differently around the time when you have an eczema outbreak. Perhaps, you may be allergic to something or just need some more moisture using natural oils. Hope this helps :)

  • is that a sew in or a glue in??

  • @Nissi210

this is a weave if you watch my channel you will see that I wear them as a protective style...i have plenty of vids with my own hair! lol

  • @Nissi210

    Fail.

  • @Nissi210 Honey she clearly stated she uses weave to protect her real hair. Alot of women do it and it grows your hair fast. She stated that in past vids. Watch them and know what ypu are talking about before you try to call someone out!

  • I had that problem and for me it came from a conditioner I had tried. It was awful! My hair became extremely dry and itchy and it started to shed. I tried everything to stop the symptoms, dandruff shampoo etc...nothing worked until I tried Oyin products. I ordered the sample sizes at first. I remembered the first time I put the curly pudding in my hair; it stopped the itching right away. Now I only use natural hair care products & I try not to do too much with it at any one time. Less is more.

  • I hate that you never show your length on your videos. All I see you doing is talking. I've watched about 4 of them already and never saw you show your length or even any comparison shots. I won't be watching anymore of them because what good are they to me if I have nothing to judge your growth by. Not trying to be mean but I don't want to waste my time.

  • @thisheadofmine

thats a very silly comment....if you watch my 3 month updates you can see my hair length and check ins...my most recent video...my hair is out....sometimes people just need to use the eyes God gave them a little more!

  • part of the reason especially with excema that you SHOULDNT have relaxed your hair, the chemicals can exacerbate that condition, and you could get real damage to your skin and hair.

  • omg i thought i was the only one suffering from the patches pf dandruff and dry itchy scalp ! what did the dermatoligit say to you ??? or what did he give you for it ??

  • i have had it too! if your shampoo has alcohol, you need to stop usibg it. also, co wash more and dont use t tree products and dont use dndruf shampoo because it will dry your hair out even more i hope this helps

    katrina

ps dont stress so much stress sint good for exzma also vaseline helps too

  • dont ever use steriod cream use natural creams and you need to see derematologist and get some skin testt for allergies

  • I forgot to mention, i recently heard LISTERINE kills fungus/ yeast, so that might help!!!!! Good luck!

  • Oh you poor thing! My brother had the same dry, flaky rash behind the legs and inside of the elbows when we were kids. He always had super soft, sensitive, slightly oily skin. I myself could be out in the 100 degree Houston, TX sun all day with no problems, but his eczema would act up. For the scalp have you tried cornstarch with essential oil? Neroli and rosemary oils help me. I'll post it as a quick video response. Lots of youtubers swear by ACV, too.

  • What u need to do is start wearing ur hair out because as i notice ur hair is long but its very thin. Now i dnt know if have thin hair but wearing weave all the time is not good for your hair. Your not letting ur hair breathe so work on wearing ur hair out more and you see a major difference in ur hair. Oh and dnt wash ur evry week ur suppose to wash ur hair evry two weeks at least.

  • aloe vera juice, castor oil and giovanni deep moistutre shampoo/conditioner.

  • Love you hair! How did you curl it??

  • poor sweetie you are so gorgeous! maybe you could check out Dr; Jerry Bagel. He's a well recognized dermatologist from New Jersey and has his own skin center that's cutting edge.

  • i know it itches like crazy but scratching can cause ringworm, staph infections and other infections. My son has eczema and once u get an infection of the sclap, they will perscribe oral meds. U don't want that!

  • Hey you could try pre-pooing- like a deep conditioning right before you shampoo

  • Its probably from stress...that has happened to me,,,,,Im cheerful now no outbreaks in years,,,,Stay Happy

  • I feel your pain. I suffered from psoriasis for 20+ yrs. This same damn patch would spread all around my neck every summer. Then I was diagnosed with severe contact dermatitis, which consisted of ugly bumps & bruises all over my face. I was put on steroids (prednisone) as well, but by the grace of God, at 35 yrs old, the flare ups have finally stopped. Hydrocortisone cream is my miracle drug. Whenever something starts to itch or annoy me, I rub that in & it keeps it from gettn ugly.

  • First...you're videos are awesome..keep up the great work! 2) My little brother suffers from SEVERE eczema...he started drinking this juice made by Trivita called "NOPALEA"..it reduces the inflammation in your body which is the primary cause of the condition...his skin cleared up drastically (no, I don't work for them!)..3) I'm subscribing! lol..

I'm trying to improve the health of my hair and need all the advice/encouragement I can get...wishing everyone luck in their hair endeavors..

  • My scalp did the same thing when I use to relax.... It's the perm

  • you may be shampooing too much -- in previous videos it seems that you mainly co-washed and now you are shampooing -- your scalp is likely being stripped of all its natural oils. Try oiling your scalp with a bit of castor and oiive oil after spraying it down with water or rosewater or aloe juice. those will help restore the ph of your hair and the oils will seal in the moisture. Internally you need more essential fats. vitamin E, avocado, nuts, seeds, will feed your skin and scalp better. Lina

  • Ive made the transistion about 2 times, then gone back to perm but this time i decided to go natural & try straigntening instead. the problem is that now the straightened parts wont go back to natural & my hair is falling out, i just dont know what to do anymore, any tips or ideas? thanks.

  • This girl is lovely..so charismatic, well informed and well-spoken,shes deffinately a likeable character and her hair is beautiful

  • Your problem could be a fungal problem

  • Try antifungal cream That worked for the patches on my neck

  • See if the shampoo contains Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, or Ammonium Laureth Sulfate. Thats whats probably making it worse because its stripping the oils in your hair and making it drier. and try sticking with non-sulfate shampoos for now, till it gets better

  • i had the same problem with my dry itchy scalp. I later used sulphur which is a medicated scalp treatment.

  • You have to find out what you're allergic to. It could be a food allergy or an allergy from your environment or the relaxer. Only being tested at your doctor will give you the answer. You should also take a good look at the different shampoos and conditioners you use. Maybe you could heat train your hair instead.

  • Also when it gets bad, until you get it under control, you may want to try Benadryl which will get rid of the each until your apt with your doctor

  • Infamation is caused, sometimes, by diet! Have you been eating more carbohydrates?........they can be very inflaming. im feeling your pain though

  • you should just let your hair grow naturally, yes it might be ugly and stuff, but using a bunch of shampoos, relaxers, flatteners.. etc etc, makes your hair and scalp stress.

  • @cracktober "ugly and stuff" ?....hmmm

  • @martaajoku1 meaning that everyones hair will look like shit without the use of stylers or something else..

  • Maybe stop relaxing your hair? I think relaxing certainly won't help the problem here.

Maybe you could do something like heat training your natural hair to get it to be more manageable instead of relaxing it with severely harsh chemicals that are damaging to both the scalp and the hair.

  • @blahblahblahman hi....u dont have to stop relaxing ur hair becos it will cus more breakage relax like every 3 to 4 months.and normal relaxer is ok .it helps with the growth too.heating ur hair is creating a huge damage to ur beautiful hair so avoid heating.

  • heey :) if ur hair's natural, how'd you blend it with the weave?

  • I would STRONGLY advise putting PURE coconut oil on your scalp and on your eczéma. My little sister suffers from bad eczema and i was reading the benefits of coconut oil and helping get rid of the dryness from eczema was something that it helps with! She tried it and low and behold it HELPED! I was so happy i could help her! She puts it on at night and its fine the next morning! I would try it for a week and let me know how it works!!

  • @africanqueen552 "make the chemicals penetrates more to your scalp and can go to your brain"

um...there is so much FAIL in this statement i don't know where to begin. But yea people w/ eczema should't use relaxers but ONLY because it irritates the skin and can thus stunt hair growth

  • @NaturalhairGrwthShow GIRL I REALLY DONT KNO WAT GOIN ON WIT MY HAIR ITS JUS FALLIN GAPART LIKE CRAZY MY HAIR IS RELAXED JUST PASSING MY FINGER THROUGH IT ALOT OF HAIR COMES OUT PLZ HELP

  • I am almost in tears listening to your story. I am going through the same thing as you. I do have a huge bald patch on the back of my hair and all over my body. I had to use a steroid cream. I woke up yesterday morning and my scalp was so sore, and my husband say you scratched all through the night....PLEASE let us know what your doc says. I will also check Nunna's video for her remedy...the body I can handle but in my scalp???

  • hello,i will advice u to stop using the hair products for now ,baby shampoo is the best,i belive u will see changes.i heard the same problem too and my husband told me the same,[u know the white men dont hide the feelings ]so i started using my six months old baby shampoo ohhhh it was was great......goodluck

  • I use "expressions" for braiding under weave & suspected had a slight sensitivity to it. As said eczema can develop when immunity weak, eg sore throat/stress, when I got a cold my scalp got really bad. Before braiding again, decided to rinse hair in ACV, (growafrohairlong website)-did not suffer with itchiness once! Next braids, was too lazy to rinse hair-major itchiness! This time rinsed hair-scalp happy! Lesson learned-rinsing expressions in ACV eliminates toxins, which may cause my allergies!

  • have u tried sulfur 8 hair grease? i have really bad dry scalp that sounds like what u were describing. try to use it for two weeks (put it in ur hair after u wash it)...after the second week ur hair should clear up drastically. hope this helps :-)

  • Hi I just wanted to ask if it is possible that you are allergic to the hair that you are wearing. It happens alot to women who were synthetic hair and suffer from exzema. It really looks as if the hair is causing your exzema. I have exzema as well as the skin is very very sensitive to certain products, hair, and soaps. Try to experiment a little by not wearing the weave see if that helps. It really sounds like the hair seems to be the culprit. Also try 100% Aloe that helps as well.

  • I had the same thing happen to me ure scalp itches so bad your almost in tears!! My doctor prescribe me something cleared it right up it's called fougera calcipotriene topical solution.. I promise you that this stuff works! Hope you feel better sweetie, I know what your going threw..;) oh and some weaves make you break out also

  • :( sorry hun xxx

  • Sorry about the eczema :(

Where do you get your weave done? It look ssoo nice!

  • Hey !

i feel really sorry for you, my son has eczema too, i really suggest you to go to your dermatologist.

also, try to avoid anti dandruf shampoo which tend to have a higher ph and worsen the eczema problem...

maybe you're allergic to the hair (the half wig) itself... that happened to me...

  • Eczema, as you said, may be a sign of allergic reaction (contact or food). Do you have food allergy, could it have been the sulfur product (what other new thing was used that had contact with your skin/scalp)? Glad you will see the dermatologist

  • Lady,

Maybe you use to much on the patches.

    Hope you get well soon

  • ur hair looks great tho...

  • How do you get your hair to grow underneath weave? I used to wear tracks & its breaks my hair...I think I'm not treating it right. What would you recommend?

  • I have hooorrrible eczema too, and the cold weather worsens it! In any case, go see your dermatologist again, what works is nizoral shampoo and/or zinc pyrithione lotion or cream on the scalp. All the best

  • Also, Lay off the Dairy. It inflames eczema and with eczema...flairouts are considered allergic reactions. So pretty much you have to stick to a regular routine and monitor what you put in your hair and on your skin. So again all your "i tried this" stuff you will be getting more breakouts.

  • Can you do yourself a favor... STOP with the crazy hairgrowth experiments. This was the same issue when you were natural. You're hair would grow so much faster/better if you just let it alone

  • Sorry to hear about your hair troubles. I would almost expect that your eczema was triggered when you got your relaxer and now has a cascading affect. I do think though that the eczema is more of an internal issue. Have you looked into Gluten Sensitivity? Decreasing or eliminating the amount of gluten in your diet has had great sucess with eczema among many other health related issues. Just a thought!!!

    Get better soon!!!!

  • did u try raw shea butter it's really good for the healing of what u have going on. believe me it works because i had a bad reaction to some medication i had to take. it helped with the itching and burning on my arms that i had. it will help your scalp more then u know girl.

  • this is gonna sound crazy but use head&shoulders shampoo on your dry patches! when i was younger, my brother had eczema & he used it & it cleared up. i thought that was crazy but recently i had some patches on my neck. i ran out & got head & shoulders hydrating shampoo and it cleared up in 3 showers! i was worried that since it was shampoo, it would dry out my skin. girl, when i came out of the shower, my skin was so moisturized! try this before going to the dermatologist, i promise it will work

  • Hey loveee :)

Try tea tree oil or peppermint oil or any shampoo or hair products with those in them

    Good luck sweetie!!

  • paraffin has helped me alot...i swear by it

  • can you do video on how umaintain moistrize ur hair pleaseeee

  • Hey girl!! Dont be discouraged!! I Joined the Challenge but i didnt check in last time!! my computer has been acting up!! But that wasnt the only reason i didnt!! i was frustrated from and accidental protein overload and my hair was just breaking off!! i thought i would be bald!! But i have been able to correct that and i did gain most of my moisture back.... I get a relaxer on thursday and i guess ill find out just how bad the damage is after. Say encouraged!!

  • First of all its lovely of you to share that with us. I feel your pain! I've just got rid if eczema in the past year (I've had it since childhood) I'm 25 now! I've tried everything under the sun believe me! I could talk about eczema all day. Steroid creams will thin your skin with long term use though they are good short term to quickly get rid of symptoms. I assume you're using hydrocortizone? I use Dr Organic's manuka honey cream (I swear by it) you can get it in Holland and Baratts for about

  • I use to suffer with the same issues; definitely check your diet and the extentions you are using, that contributed to my flare up. I would recommed that you keep your nails short while you are recovering, if you are like me those nails do a lot of damage!! Since swtiching to natural products a year ago I have not had any problems. All the best - it will get better

  • I have eczema and I use coconut oil, emu oil, Shea butter, and just alternate between them all and my eczema hardly flares up anymore. I'm so sorry to hear about the dry patches because I know they can be frustrating, God bless and take care. MSM sure does work wonders for eczema, I take the powder NOW brand:)

  • Sulfer 8 grease

  • Sorry about theskin issues. However, you look beautiful!

  • I had a similar problem this summer after having an allergic reaction to a product. The dermatologist prescribed me a shampoo but it didnt work for me and caused my hair to dry out and break off even more! What helped for me was adding tea tree oil to my shampoo and using aloe vera gel on the dry patches on my scalp. After my hair was dry I would use castor oil with jojoba oil on my scalp. I also switched to using all natural products. Try Aubrey Organics Shampoos and Conditioners.

  • Glovers Mane, put this suff on the spot if nothing else works ^_^ totally cleared my scalp eczema as a child

  • I tried sulfur before, and believe it it caused havoc on my scalp!!! Was very soar, dry and tender. I steer well clear of sulfur now. Hope it gets better soon

  • I just big cut, is it to late to join?

  • I have the same problem I have eczema also and every year around January and February when the weather changes my skin changes and my hair falls out in the back I have no idea what I should do. I went to the dermatologist last year and they gave me some injections in my scalp and a shampoo to use twice a week and some type of lotion. My hair grew back fully and now it broke off again in January:(

  • Maybe you're protein sensitive (the protein treatment you just did).

  • Maybe you can try spraying aloe on your skin them applying shea butter over the top :)

Black soap for shampoo. Definately seeing a dermatologist first is best though.

  • i had eczema for most of my life and it went away about last year and not had it since then. pure aloe vera gel is probably the best thing to stop the itching! i use it all the time now whenever i start to feel an itch coming on and it just goes away. also E45 cream is the best moisturiser i have used. if it gets really really bad you should try chinese herbal medicine, it sounds HORRIBLE but when i had my eczema at its worst that cleared it up. hope it gets better xx

  • I'm really sorry that you are having problems. When my eczema flares up, mainly behind my legs or inside my elbows, I just use a little hydrocortisone cream morning and night for 3 days on top of my regular cream and it's all good as gold again. If I have problems on my face/neck, which isn't as often, I have to limit my makeup to the point where it's kinda just lipbalm. I guess it would be a similar solution for the dry patches on your scalp; limit the hair products used. Weave looks great tho X

  • I use to have patches of eczema on my arms but I used extra virgin coconut oil on it and it went away.

  • it looks like seborrheic dermatitis on your scalp is has alot of the same symptoms as eczema

  • use aloe from a tree. It works. After applying the aloe, overlap with coconut oil. Worked for me and my eczema

  • Have you thought about trying to do a brazillian keratin treatment? ...instead of relaxing

  • aww hun I hope you get it sorted. It may be the actual weave hair u no tho, all that really unprocessed hair from another person.......................do you normally use virgin/remi/brazilian/indian hair??????

  • I hear shea butter works best for eczema. I think you should give it a try. Make sure it's raw.

  • p.s., sometimes dandruff shampoos worsen my conditions! They have too many harsh ingredients and the sodium laurel sulfates really exacerbate things! Good luck.

  • Have you tried Neem oil? I'm struggling with similar issues on my scalp... i saturate my scalp with a mixture of neem and olive oil then shampoo. It really helps..But I know how you feel. My scalp sometimes feels like its on fire and that was one of the reasons I had to stop relaxing. I had no choice because my scalp can't take any chemical on it at all. Feel better lady!

  • maybe coconut oil will help since it is the only natural oil that penatrates hair. it may also work for your skin since hair is and extension of our skin. I hope everything gets better.

  • i had the same thing but it was from a relaxer burn and my mom used olive oil to make it go away , it might work for you

  • THE THING YOU HAVE TO DO IS TRY EATING MORE RAW FOODS UP UP YOUR YOUR FRUIT AND VEG MAKE SMOTHIES.DRINK MORE WATER AND TRY DREAM DREAM CREAM FROM LUSH ITS GOOD FOR EZCEMA!

  • Sorry to hear about the eczema. But you'll be fine, just relax, see the doctor, get your skin and scalp healthy and the succesful hair growing shall presume. Setbacks happen to everyone, we're all human so don't even be too bothered about it.

  • sorry to hear about your skin, lukn on the bright side your hair looks real nice did u do it yourself? nice nice

  • I have eczema as well. It is an inflammatory disease of the immune system, so maybe you have some underlying issues going on with your immune system (nothing too TOO major), but it's an issue nonetheless. My dermatologist prescribed an ointment for my eczema. It helps with the symptoms, but no miracle drug or cream can help cure it. It's something you live with for life, sadly.

  • @SweetnSourqt3

Thats what I thought, Ive been upping my multivitamins, my fruit and veg intake. and Im going to start working out, so will see how it improves, I know this is more of an internal thing. thanks

  • @NaturalhairGrwthShow so I think I had the same patches as you for over a year. Mine cleared up with the Avlon Keracare Dry and Itchy Scalp shampoo and conditioner. I've been meaning to do a video on this since it helped me. And the patches on your face may go away permanently when your scalp clears up. Hope tis helps!

  • @SweetnSourqt3 Actually, I don't think that's true. I have a friend who had really bad eczema, and now it's gone.

  • @BellezzaEtiopica It's gone for now, but it flares up every once in a while. Just like Patricia (BritPopPrincess/NaturalhairGrwthShow) said: She had it as a child and it just came up out of the blue. This is very common among eczema sufferers. Just research it. I'm currently working towards my MA in biomedical sciences, so I'm not just saying this for ha-has.

  • @SweetnSourqt3 I understand, but it's not rational for you to say that all conditions of eczema are untreatable. You couldn't possibly predict that.

  • @SweetnSourqt3

my sin and i have had it too, they took him off seafood, eggs, peanut products, soy and som persons have beb faken off dairy too, if i break out, i have to change my food. detergent, skin products and hair products,

    i feel your pain

    katrina

  • @SweetnSourqt3 detox.

  • do u use acrylic nails? i had the same problem and it was the acrylic

  • from forever living

  • nothing changed the situation then wen i went to see my gp it turned out i had become allergic to the relaxer as well as e hair products i was using at e time, now ive jst gone all natural nd jst used natural products on my hair, there r not a lot available in the Uk so i order mine from america, to help my skin hill i used aloe vera products from

  • hey hun, dont knoe if it will help but i suffered from eczema wen i was younger. then it went away, i had been relaxing my hair all my life but decided to grow it natural, then i felt i cudnt handle it nd i relaxed it again but this time i experienced something different, i experienced dry flakes, first it wud take 3-4days for them to come up but in e end as soon as i wud wash my hair they wud b bk, in e areas where my hair was flaking the most my hair started to fall out, i tried everythin but

  • Any recommendations in London to get a weave done please?

    Not too pricey please...

    Thanks

  • i use this stuff called gator balm for my eczema...it's amazing stuff..

  • you look very pretty

  • u probably need to drink more water

  • Awwww sorry, u look pretty nd d hair looks gud..:-)

  • The sulfur may have flared up your eczema

  • coconut oil heal the scalp and gets rid of eczema. please try it. maybe your shampooing to often and maybe you should was once a month?

  • Lactic acid creams!

i have eczema in my elbow crease and dotted around little bits of my body

Fair& white Lait aha-2 will get rid of the eczema and clear the scars.

the cream has lactic acid in it and works as a humectant to stop drying and itching

  • So sorry this happened. Don't worry, your hair will grow back. I use the new Nioxin Scalp Recovery shampoo and scalp treatment. It works for my scalp eczema and seborrheic dermatitis. It is also a moisturizing line, which is rare.

  • I had eczema once with lots of visible flare ups on my legs and itchiness. The doctor prescribed an aveeno lotion (blue lid) and hydrocortizone to stop the itching. It cleared up in about a month or so. She said it was due to extremely dry skin and ever since ive been trying to keep moisturized and havent had another episode since then. Also my hair gets dry quickly, and I usually use leave in conditioners both liquid and cream. For the cream, I use cantu shea butter. It is amazing!!! TRY IT!!!

  • could you do a video on how you did your weave with the side fringe and how you cut and style your hair?

  • Oh no, I had the same flakes when I used sulfur last year. My scalp would just flake off. Have you tried a garlic shampoo or conditioner? I don't have a history of eczema and know it was the sulfur.

  • I had eczema as a child, and I have flare ups a few times as an adult. It can go away and come back because it never leaves your blood/genes, it's always gonna be there. Taking baths in Epson salt or sitting in the ocean sea water has always helped me. I've never had it on my scalp though. Shea moisture has a African black soap shampoo, conditioner, and spray elixir that is suppose to help with dry itchy scalp. I'm not sure if it's available in the UK though...

  • Yay for a weave video!!! lol. I have scalp issues as well.

  • Hey, my suffers from ecezema and he has had for 3 years, since he was 6 months old. I was not educated on it until he was diagnosed with it. Ive tried everything to control it, but there is no cure...and it came come back at any time during your life if it is triggered. So the best products Ive found for scalp is Carol's Daughter blk vanilla shampoo and for skin Eucerin in the big tub. It works wonders and helps alot. Good luck! You look gorgeous, by the way!

  • U MANIPULATE UR HAIR TOO MUCH

  • Sorry you are having the eczema on the scalp too but I totally agree the aloe vera juice/gel will probably work. It is SO soothing! Your hair looks cute though! ♥

  • aw sry to hear about the ezema- ppl's advice are good-aloe gel and sheabutter with vit E and sweetalmond oil are good. I know its hard not to itch- but you will reap benifits. Just keep it moisturize- maybe scalp massages would help- so you are using your finger pads and pumping blood/nutirents to you scalp. I pary that march will be alot better. And warmer months is good for hair growth. x

  • oh and i had the exact same thing last month. I had huge pieces of scalp/skin coming off when i combed my hair. It took about a month to go but everytime i washed my hair, i would heat up some olive oil and rub it on the affected areas kind of like a hot oil treatment, after about 3 times doing this it went :)

  • Hi, you should use the Salcura range. The product range is the best thing ever. I too suffer from eczema and it is way better than the stuff you get from the doctors. especially the Intensive Skin Therapy Spray. Go to salcura.co.uk.

  • patricia thanks for the video!

how do you deal with skeptics and non-believers? my mum and sister laugh at me trying to take care of my hair (as weird as it sounds) and laugh at the supplements that i take. My sis tells me that my hair will never be long :( i'm trying to ignore them but its getting me down :(

    thanks

  • @enny1292 Only your results will speak louder then your mouth. Keep on taking care of your hair and your lenght will shut up mouth very soon I hope. Take care :)

  • Hey sweetie, my daughter had the same eczéma issues, i came up with a homemade recipe that WORKS! Please check out my Channel i have 2 vids on it "Kids eczema shea butter body moisturizer" is the one for you... I know u said it is quite better now but this is a Life remedy that is ALWAYS working 4 my bb... As soon as eczema comes back i use it 1-2 x day & after 3-4days it stops until next year crisis. I also use it on her on a daily basis. Dnt know 4 hair but hope it Will at least work 4 ur bod

  • @nunaavane

i will have to try that..i'll let you know if it works

  • @nunaavane i agree with Nuna, there are several types of dermatitis, excezma that cause this i suffer from it, my skin is sensitive to certain things that touch it. and stress cause it also. you seem informed about it, so definitley see the derm, i find shea is really good against dermatitis

  • OMGosh!!! I have been experiencing the same thing!!! I have itchy scalp also I had such severe breakage with my hair, so much that I had to cut my hair due to damage. My hair was just to far gone so I cut it back to one length. Hugs and Kisses hope you feel much better hon

  • Hi! I don't know if this is the same thing that I had. I had dry scaly patches in my head that I would actually be able to pull off. The dermotoligist is the best thing to do. I basically had cradle cap (in adults) I could take my comb and actually scratch about a dime size patch out of my hair that would be gray almost like a scab. This comes and goes but check with the Dr. The gave me a oil to put on my scalp called Derma-Smoothe/FS (Fluocinolone Acetonide) This works for me! Good Luck

  • Im so sorry to hear this, but it has definitely helped me, it for nothing else to identify that I have eczema. I never had it as a kid and randomly a few years ago I had scalp flakes, and it freaked me out. And now I have patches on my legs that seem to never get better. I know your no expert, but if you would keep us updated on what you do and learn about treating your skin, I would love it! Thanks so much for sharing and I hope it gets cleared soon.

  • try sulfur 8, it always clear up my scalp problems..

    Good Luck!

  • the same with me! its so annoying :( im going to try that e45 also, nrvr heard of it. your hair looks great! glad you're doing a vid on it finally :)

  • I had the same thing as you but mine came from relaxers my scalp was always itchy and sore but you say it's on your neck to so maybe its something else

  • It sounds like you have an allergic reaction to something! Poor you!

  • Remember body chemistry changes on average every 7 years , things that my not have been bothersome before my irritate you, or old irritations my rear- their ugly heads, some people phase out different skin conditions, asthma, certain allergies completely. maybe its a reaction to something...

  • r u stressed? my eczema flairs up when am stressed or run down

  • im sorry to hear that dag

  • Omg your February was my January, the itching had me paranoid when I went to the doctor he gave me pills and cream as well as a prescription for dandruff shampoo my hair was drier then soil. Before I went to the doctor I put tea tree oil in my head it helped. Also try peppermint oil to give your head relief the tingle form the oil will make it feel better, I also hear castor oil is good for dandruff too good-luck! :)

  • hope your doctor results are nothing serious

how often do u relax your hair?

  • @drealicious88

about every 3 to 4 months

  • what about jahoba oil i cant spell but thats supposed to work!

  • Do you think the perms are making your hair and scalp react like that?

  • Sorry to hear........I use organic avocado and cooked oatmeal mixed together into a paste and apply it to my skin( rub it in and leave it on for twenty minutes).....you should see results the next day. Oatmeal balances the pH on skin and the avocado adds oils back into the skin. I had eczema really bad on my hands I used this mix nightly. The oatmeal also exfoliate the skin so the steroid cream can penetrate into the layers. Hope this helps.

  • i heard jane carter scalp renew is the best!! its a scalp exfoliator

  • I have the very same itchy spot on my scalp. I tried sulphur, a miconazole nitrate prescription and Mercy cream. Idk nothing is working! It feels so good to give in and itch the spot too lol. Will try the aloe cream as suggested above and see what hapns. Good luck and keep us posted on what the derm said.

  • Have you tried apple cider vinegar and/or aloe vera juice, gel or raw aloe?

  • I have ridiculous dryness on my scalp it's crazy. 1st I thought it was a fungal infection and I took an anti-fungal med for weeks...but no luck. The thing i found to work is a steriod cream that I apply every once in a while (it can thin ur skin so I don't use it daily) + an antifungal cream (I mix both). If I apply the steriod cream 2days in a row, it usually keeps the dryness away for a few weeks.
