I dont remember how much space our original computer was, I just remember using floppy discs that were actually floppy... and having to use the dos prompt to do anything
My first computer had a dual 512 K floppy drives (the big 5 1/4" ones), but I had upgraded to a 20 Mb hard card. It was a 20 Mb hard drive mounted to a card. I was the envy of all my friends...
easycleaner scanned my computer and said about 3500 files were duplicated, but other websites warn you that some files NEED to be duplicate, because they function in different places, that means I have to go check one by one of those 3500 files !! and overall size of them is only about 400 mega bytes...I believe better leave them alone rather than risking a bigger problem...am i right ?
My first hard drive was 100 megabytes. My computer was made by a company called "LAZER". It was a 386 with a 5.25 and a 3.1/2 inch drive and the Operating system was windows 3.0 and at the time it was state of the art. I'm Imagine if you will now such thing as drag and drop. Even in win3.0 you still have to spell out where you wanted your file to be moved to. No internet at the time. The best you had then was Prodigy or BBS's. My moden was screaming at 9600 bps. Man! try and catch me on that!
I loved your video. I came across a site that will help your channel/video become more popular. It has really helped me out a great deal. The name is Thetubeviews . Net
i find it funny that people stored their entire mass of files on a single floppy, 1 mb, and windows 95 the ENTIRE OPERATING SYSTEM was on a single 1 mb floppy, windows vista takes 4 4 GB dvds. more than 16 gigs!
now nobody can survive without 300 gigs of space on their drive
My very first HD was only 10 MB not GB. I used it to serve a online BBS for TRS-80 computers. I thought I would never used all that space. And in fact I never did. Not only did I host a BBS with 1000s of programs but also took care of 3 businesses all on that same hard drive. And the cost of that 10 MB hard drive...almost $1000 dollars.
It was an Epson, I forget the name but it was a bugger to work on. After removing the case everything was under subcases and sheilds. It was an odd PC. I remember the PS/2 30s well, I worked for a small computer company back then and we repaired tons of the early PS/2 PCs...
i had 1 computer of my own and a family one..the computers were really really old... but were top of the range back then.... the Family one wad an IBM 16mb Ram 1.66GB HDD and had Win95 on it
My one not sure how much ram but it had a 200mb HDD and i am pretty sure it was running Dos...because everything was black and had white writing and that...also it booted very fast...so yeah!..
Oh we used to dream of 256! We had to run on -256, giving up our own brain to be used as a hard drive after eating a handful of cold gravel and paying for the privilege. Then we get home and our father would murder us in cold cold blood!
My first computer was a commador 64, so whatever they had in them... I actually don't know if they had any storage in them at all just those big ass floppy discs. Back when the name made sense and they were actually floppy.

My official first computer was a Commodore Amiga 500 with 1MB of memory upgraded Agnus gfx processor, 1 disk drive, 1084S monitor and Citizen dot matrix color printer. Because of the advanced co-processors it was a real blast especially with games and multimedia.
My first computer was a 486: hard drive 200MB. The processor 33MHz. 4MB of RAM. 1MB graphic card. No CD drive. No sound card or sound chip. This was 1992.
My 1st HDD was 10MB
it was a PC-XT 8086 microprocessor! ran on DOS
2nd PC was a PC-AT 80286 microprocessor
3rd PC was Pentium processor, running win-3.1!
