Never get tired of hearing Vivaldi's Concerto in C Major for Mandolin, especially the first movement here though I really like it all. I also love Vivaldi's Concerto in G for 2 mandolins. Can't do this, but love to listen.

ich hatte dieselbe Frage - schliesslich bin ich sicher: er spielt mit einem Plektrum. Man muss nur auf die Lage von Daumen und Zeigefinger aufpassen: beide sind immer in derselben Position nebeneinander.

Ausserdem gegen Ende des zweiten Satzes kann man das Plektrum gegen das weisse Holz des Instrumentes ganz kurz sehen.

Vom technischen abzusehen aber: ez ist eine unbeschreibliche Virtuasitat ganz wurdig diesem Meisterstuck. Ich kann mich gar nicht von reissen. rho

In Antonio Vivaldi's lifetime mandolins used gut strings. Steel wire strings had not yet been invented. These modern mandolinists are using steel wire which produce greater volume.
