This guitarist is absolutely phenomenal. To see actually being played in real time is great. It makes us realize that the electric guitar, used in its many ways and variety's, is one of the 20th centuries greatest musical inventions.

I believe that if Mozart were here today, he would be equally amazed to see a such a variation of a stringed instrument in his time like a Violin turned into another instrument, the guitar, to create such a new music and sound.

Yeah, was it Denny Dias or Skunk Baxter, because it sounds like the same lead player the whole time on this song. Tone sounds like Dias, style sounds like Baxter, so I'm kind of stumped.

That was Skunk, and he got wicked sustain/tone with a custom guitar, a Roland Gr-505 with a plexiglass (yes, plexiglass) body. He also had his own pickups, he called them "skunk-o-sonic" pickups.
