  • Man! If Rhodes aint pissin bricks right now, they should be. This thing sounds lovely!

  • will you guys be at the messe? wanna try one out.

  • They sound a little glass compared to the earlier Mark 1's, but the earlier mark ones also have a problem cutting in a live mix which I'm sure this one wont. I just can't wait to have one to mess with. I'm so sick of emulations I sold my Nord and a few other things in order to get this sooner.

  • I liked this demo though. It was someone actually turning the knobs to get a different sound. There are dozens of videos of this keyboard and most of them are just pros wanking off.

  • the mark 7 is marketed by roland. they have a lot more money to spend on websites and such. vintage vibe is a great small 'mom n pop' company, and based on their history, i have no doubt about their abilities and quality of service. their (new) website will be up and running soon. i've loved their products in the past, and they have my full endorsement in this new venture.

  • Could you please give more details about it? Is this one of the new Rhodes Mark 7? or is a new Wurlitzer electric piano?

  • @DrPretto no its not a mark 7 (rhodespiano . com)

This is a vintagevibe creation (vintagevibeepc . com)

I would personally buy a mark 7, but you decide.

  • @georgemargaris i'd rather have this soundwise, the mark 7 has midi, but i don't think it would be any use to them. i want to try both

  • @jazzmoran Its not about MIDI or not.

Not all mark 7 have midi, its optional.

Prices of mark7 and vintagevibe do not really differ that much, but mark7 has a MUCH Better

look and design if you ask me...

...ehm.... not that it says much, but just check both websites, and then decide.

vintagevibeepc website doesnt work right, bad design. What can I say. I doesnt say much....

just first impression not so good.

  • @georgemargaris: The price is quite a bit different. The Vintage Vibe pianos are $1,000 less expensive.

  • @georgemargaris I agree completely. This demo intrigued me, but I'm not sure if I'd want to buy from a company with such a poor web site. The menus don't work and it's clunky overall. It doesn't even have any information about the piano. Who would buy such an expensive instrument with such little info? It makes me think it would reflect the quality of service. That's usually a good indication.

  • @georgemargaris

    Thanks, Great videos.
