yh iv done that myself when training in 20's.. dnt agree with the guard tho cos u cn cover up better, which sometimes makes for a false sense of security when u compete in smaller gloves
very good sparrin session, guy in the red had more experience and technique... guy in the black isn't bad either, only advice I'd give is for him to keep his hands up. too prone to head shots with his hands so low...

that's probably because he's wearing 20oz gloves in that clip (he was fighting in the 140s).

20oz gloves dont stop you connecting they just make it harder to keep ur hands up and makes u slower

they also make it hard to keep your guard and punches tight, plus if you miss you're more likely to get overextended, i know, those are my gloves. :)

you're right about guard with bigger gloves making defense cake. i meant that the gloves are harder to return to a tight guard quickly.
