ya unfortunately we have left it to obama who has quadrupled the deficit, continued to bail out corporations, and the dollar continues to decline. Just look at the price of gold. He keeps saying that he has pulled the economy from the brink but i guarantee you that the worst is yet to come. and FDR did not fix the economy. in fact he delayed the recovery from happening. and this healthcare plan, which is horrible economically, will lead to more job losses and ever increasing debt.

socialism is increasing the power of govt and taking away the power from the people. If we actually had free market capitalism, we wouldnt be in this mess. Everyone blames this recession on capitalism but it is the federal reserve that leveraged the financial institutions and fannie and freddie basically created a duopoly of the mortgage market. Socialism creates no incentive to work harder, take risks and for innovation. Whenever the govt interferes they always make it worse.

the govt has effed up our educational system and it is because of them that college prices are so high. also, due to so many regulations, we cant buy healthcare across state lines which decreases competition. The govt continues to subsidize insurance lobbyists, drug companies, etc. trust me man if the govt stopped meddling into everything we would be much better off. on top of that the govt is going to significanly weaken the dollar which will eventually destroy the consumer and the economy.
