Continued - If there were repeaters set up in the building for FDNYs radios they would of not had this problem. Ok heres the real deal to people who do not know how radios work. FDNY at this time was using Motorola Saber VHF Radios. VHF doesn't work as well as UHF in buildings. For everyones info the FDNY now carrys Motorola XTS UHF radios now. The real reason why there was poor communication in the bulidings was because there was no repeater coverage in the buildings. A Repeater takes a transmitting signal, amplifies it to a very strong signal and re transmits it. They needed better repeater coverage.

It is the responisbility of the FDNY to get working radios. Since they were working elsewhere could they have just found radios that would work. This is just passing the buck.

He led the city and evacuated, He did his job. If he were to be at the base of the towers along with police and triage city officials it would have been tragic.
It is tragic that these firemen died in the line of duty due to Rudy's poor leadership. So why did the disabled people die when they should not have. Were they being carried down by Firefighters who just had to die trying to evac them? In addition to the tremendous mistakes that he made prior to the attack, he also refused to give firefighters and rescue workers breathing masks during the rescue effort that ensued after the collapses. That is why hundreds of these valiant rescue workers today suffer from emphysema.

Police are employed by the state to protect and serve so there guns and radios are state provided.Firefighters radios are state provided so if there radios don't work they should be replaced by the city but the mayor probably kept the money to repair them and thats why ppl hate him.

It is tragic that these firemen died in the line of duty due to Rudy's poor leadership. Rudy not only made several mistakes prior to 911 (which were explicated in this video), he was also a poor mayor in general, as any New Yorker can tell you. So why did the disabled people die when they should not have. Were they being carried down by Firefighters who just had to die trying to evac them? Mistakes were made in leaving the disabled on the 12th floor. Regardless of the Mayors performance prior to 9/11/01 he did a great job. Its absurd that the radios are being blamed on the mayor

I'm not sure what would lead you to believe that Rudy handled the catastrophe properly. In addition to the tremendous mistakes that he made prior to the attack, he also refused to give firefighters and rescue workers breathing masks during the rescue effort that ensued after the collapses. That is why hundreds of these valiant rescue workers today suffer from emphysema.

Its his fault b/c he re-issued radios to be used that were proven not to work. If they were working the firefighters wouldve gotten the evacuation signal and been saved...many of them. I have been a firefighter for ten years. And never have I seen anyone buy any equipment without testing it or trying it out first. I have used Motorolas products in the feild with success but we tested them before we used them and made sure the 911 comunications were up to par. The price of motorolla is what turns many people away from their product. The cost is rediculous. I think Rudolph got what most polititians get with contractors...a kickback.

Even though i agree with your argument i still disagree with your choice of candidate.
America doesn't need (another) gung ho cowboy in WH.
FDR (a democrat) is smart enough to allied with the communist Soviet in WW2.
If people like Bush (or Giuliani) are smart instead of attacking Saddam they would allied with him against AlQaeda (since AlQaeda also hate him).

Obama of course and not just because he's also from Indonesia like me but because he's smart enough to know that Iraq war is a mistake before the mistake was made (unlike Hillary) and he's not a gung ho cowboy (his position on military operation in Pakistan notwithstsanding).

It's like this. Even if Brack were rolling in money, would America elect a black man as President? I might be wrong but even at this state, I don't think this country would now elect either a black or a Jew as President. And that's why I'm questioning Hillary as the Dem. top runner. I'm not so sure about electing a female, especially one that's a witch.

This video shows Guilliani for the fraud that he is. His lack of interest and effort in fixing the "radio problems" that had existed since 1994 shows that crime of omission to make him complicit and more than partially responsible for the loss of life if first responders.
In addition he shows either corruption or incredible lack of judgement in allowing Motorola to be the single bidder on radios for the city of New York.
