Lovely singing this..Makes me wish I still had my Justin Morgan Horse so I could sing this to him, bath him and braid his hair for the next festival. His name is Dahl, his mum is Arab and his da is, um, well they don't have a name for the breed up above the equator but in Brasil where I am from these horses are called Tir Na N'og.

No one can touch the Connemara singers! What Michael Coleman was to the fiddle that's what they are to singing. I was at a Connemara wedding once in Chicago where the wedding band was Martin Hayes(fiddle), Dennis Cahill (guitar) and John Williams (concertina and accordian) and they asked them to sit down after an hour and had people get up and sing in Irish for the next three. Martin Hayes emceed and seemed to be having a great time.

Brid is one of my absolute favorite female sean nos singers. I heard her for the first time around 2004 in a pub near Carna, at a singers session that they have there every month. Her voice is clear and pure, and she makes the ornamentation seem so easy to do! Truly incredible...
