There's no comparison , the f1 car would destroy an indy car over a race distance ...dont believe me? check out the lap times of both cars at circuit gille villenueve in canada .
The Benettons run a 4 litre Judd V10. Its a sportscar engine from the 90's & early 00s before the Le Mans spec changed and is not a bored out 3.5 from F1. There are no pro series for the 4L Judds but they sell the engine to BOSS teams as most original F1 engines were kept and destroyed by the manufacturers so the technology (or sometimes embarassment) in them would remain hidden. They're too expensive to run and rebuild anyway and these endurance motors are easier to get going & more reliable.
Hi i am from mexico, i don´t speak english but i try, i just want to thank because there is nothing more beauttiful than the real sound of a powerfull engine and this video put me on the road realy, realy on the road thanks
REAL Free energy technology exists! But the Oil companies want these technologies unknown to the masses,Get a motor that needs no gas or electric input at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Free yourself!
People say the worst sense to lose would be sight, however I would rather bang fat ugly chicks as a blind man than miss this sound. Purely Audio-Erotic
@jrenatosantoro why? Tbh, I think it is a crime most racing cars get retired after only one season. Its a shame they get retired at all if you ask me. They are racing cars. No matter how old they are, they were made to race in the first place. So surely, they must be raced?
@jrenatosantoro you have a very good point. I can see were you are coming from, though we'll have to agree to disagree on this. I have a very strong opinion myself that racing cars, not matter what age or what the sotry of them is should be raced. I hate to see them locked up motionless in museums, but thats just me.
@jrenatosantoro On the other hand; in modern F1, we see a small production... We often talk about 5 cars as a monetary minimum, however some team had produce up to 11 legals F1 car in a years! Plus all the piece necesary to make a new one. If I remember, this include Ferrari with the F2004, which is a championship car and, if I remember correctly, been produce at 14 examples over 2 year. In a case like that...
Also, in case of Moda, Simtech, Scuderia Italia I don't care...
Hear those great sounds and RANGE OF RPMS! ALL these series have been going in the WRONG direction for the past decade! Smaller displacements, banning turbos, slowing cars down. It's all completely contrary to the natural progression of REAL racing advancement! I'd rather watch these guys, real ENTHUSIASTS, versus Formula None, DieRL, Chump Car, Thay-1, ect. Now if someone will post vids of USA BOSS!
Great footage

which is faster champ car or f1?
xpozd2radar 8 months ago
@xpozd2radar
F1 is lighter, champ car has more horsepower.
F1 gains a lead at the start of the race, champ car can only keep up after a few laps
CykoNL 8 months ago
@xpozd2radar F1 car would demolish a Champ Car.
The only chance a Champ Car has would be at a wide open track like Indy..

I keep my opinion! lol... This Benetton represents a mark not only for formula one, but it is a mark for technology!

In my opinion this is a crime! This car, Benetton, should be in a museum or traveling the world to be exposed, and not racing!

It's a champion car... This car represents a story to the sport, to formula 1 and to the fans... and now its originality was not preserved....
