The Spectators, and when a kids seat is $5, there are more children than adults in the crowd.

And just how do YOU know they're "not properly inspected"? You DON'T know that. Who is better to inspect them, the guys that spend hundreds of hours ACTUALLY building them, after years of experience, or some govt. "safety" inspector type that knows little about them? These things cost a fortune in quality engineering, they're not just cobbled together by clowns.

all the people who are bitching about the monster truck have you ever gone to any racing event. If you go to any live event whether its nascar or dirt track, monster truck or supercross. There are signs that say by entering the facility YOU assume the risk. To always be on the look for flying dirt clods, car parts, anything on the track. Shit happens, sad a kid had to die, but shit happens. I saw in another accident, a monster truck lost controll and came down on some people. Just going to a hockey game can kill you, if that puck gets shot up over the protective fence and hits you in the head, it can kill you. Some sports can be dangerous, even to just those watching in the stadium.

It is sad that this happened and a child lost his life.However that is a risk you take when you go to one of these or any motorsports event. you can only do so much to protect the crowd, and sometimes these things happen. I myself am not a fan of monster trucks but i know the know it alls think this is the drivers fault and its not. so lighten up
