I love tenchu for the ability to lurk in the shadows waiting for the opportune moments to strike... the feeling just before you end an unsuspectiong persons life... harmony... i also love how it gives you the feeling like you are the assasin... its your life... stay hidden...
I had a lot of hope for this game, but the controlers and gameplay mechanics forced on to players by the Wii motion controler just killed the game for me.
For as far as I'm concerned, a good tenchu game needs two analogue sticks to be able to move the camera around properly. That is one of many things it needs though...

I just pretend this game never came out, that way i don't have to suffer because they ruined tenchu story and characters (ayame what have they done to you T_T)

i have all three next gen system and i think the wii and alright system. if your a hardcoregamer i wouldnt recremend the wii for you but its a good family system to have. i personally like all mario franchise and zelda(i know the games old). i do play ssbb a lot though. wii is an alright system. not good compare to graphics wwise but its still fun epscially when u play mario party with friends. its gets competitive in a stupid way lol. trust me its funny
I was looking for it as well. When I checked out the soundtrack from what I can remember the music is very different from this trailer and the song was nowhere to be found. You'll have to rip it off the youtube video if you really want it and luckily in this case there isn't any talking that gets in the way of the song at least.

High Voltage took the Time n made Quantum 3 n the Conduit. So in my book that makes them the #1 Developer for the Wii. Every other developer sucks, They dont make engines just port. Thats probably the only reason RE5 didnt come to Wii. Because Capcom are lazy bitchs n dont want to make a new engine to run it. So they take Dead Rising from 360 n REUSE the RE4 engine (horribly). If developers were more interested in making the Best Wii game instead of a quick BUCK the Wii would have AWESOME titles

I find this saddening... the Wii has the potential to become the greatest system, but it's graphics are stuck so far behind gamecube passes it up.... it lacks the graphics to bring it into light, it's controller forces it to forever be a party game for things like 'Wii Racing' or w/e, and it's games are set back for 'Fun For the Whole Family.' Make that, "For your toddlers.".... sad. Isn't it?

Well, I guess it's meant to be symbolic of some great change in her characterization. Maybe she's got a little grittier her new look says "Killer" distinctly, no?
That or maybe since she's not getting any younger, she decided to try a new look.
Lastly, in the game history, she wasn't raised as a kunoichi (female ninja) but as a normal (read: male) ninja. So in the first few games she uses no feminine wiles like a real kunoichi would.

Have you ever heard DUBBED voices? If not, see Flame Of Recca's dub, a perfect example of why japanese voices are far more superior than most English voice actors pronouncing Recca as Rika. Other than this, there are still many more that most people can point out.
well I never said it wasnt good, because it obviously was great, yeah those level editors were cool I remember playing around with that but personally I liked the Tenchu 2 more than any other Tenchu released that time, perhaps it was because of the scenario of T2... I liked it!
I like all three of the current consoles. Each has great games that define them. The way I see it,console bashing is completely pointless. Games are supposed to be a fun, entertaining media. So instead of trolling the net, finding things to bash, why not log off the computer and go play your console!!! As for me, right now I'm gonna go play a few online rounds of Mario Kart Wii, and then go play some Halo 3 on the 360, and round it off with some Soulcalibur IV on PS3.
To the console fanboys: This game is looking good!! However, haven't there been many games that we thought were gonna be good, only to be disappointed?? This is always an issue, and it spans across all gaming platforms. The real problem with this, though, isn't the horsepower of the system, albeit it is a factor. The real responsibility is in the hands of the developers who MAKE THE GAMES TO BEGIN WITH!! Games like Galaxy and Metroid showed that the Wii can be a real competitor to the PS3 & 360.
Ok, I'm gonna put it like this. All the Tenchu games up to the one on Xbox 360 was good. The one problem I had wit the one on Xbox 360 was the movements of the characters were way too stiff and I hope this one's not gonna be the same.

That or maybe since she's not getting any younger, she decided to try a new look.
Lastly, in the game history, she wasn't raised as a kunoichi (female ninja) but as a normal (read: male) ninja. So in the first few games she uses no feminine wiles like a real kunoichi would.
Maybe in this game she's learned a few?

I can't bear to purchase a console unless there are games I want to play in it from the very beginning, and so far the only ones in the Wii for me will be Tenchu 4 and Muramasa: Demon Blade.
Guess I'll just wait and see, I have yet to see a Tenchu I did not like. They all kicked ass, and the intros are great too. Even though some people complained about Tenchu:Senran, truth is that game was great if played the way you're meant to.

Oh that's not Kakashi, that's Rikimaru. The Tenchu series came out long before Naruto did, so maybe Masashi Kishimoto based Kakashi's design off of him?

Have you ever heard DUBBED voices? If not, see Flame Of Recca's dub, a perfect example of why japanese voices are far more superior than most English voice actors pronouncing Recca as Rika. Other than this, there are still many more that most people can point out.

I like all three of the current consoles. Each has great games that define them. The way I see it,console bashing is completely pointless. Games are supposed to be a fun, entertaining media. So instead of trolling the net, finding things to bash, why not log off the computer and go play your console!!! As for me, right now I'm gonna go play a few online rounds of Mario Kart Wii, and then go play some Halo 3 on the 360, and round it off with some Soulcalibur IV on PS3.

To the console fanboys: This game is looking good!! However, haven't there been many games that we thought were gonna be good, only to be disappointed?? This is always an issue, and it spans across all gaming platforms. The real problem with this, though, isn't the horsepower of the system, albeit it is a factor. The real responsibility is in the hands of the developers who MAKE THE GAMES TO BEGIN WITH!! Games like Galaxy and Metroid showed that the Wii can be a real competitor to the PS3 & 360.

Ok, I'm gonna put it like this. All the Tenchu games up to the one on Xbox 360 was good. The one problem I had wit the one on Xbox 360 was the movements of the characters were way too stiff and I hope this one's not gonna be the same.
