BTW, I saw where some people were talking about the meaning of adonai. My Mom and I sing another song that is called "Adonai" and I looked it up when we first sang it to be able to give people the correct definition. Adonai is Hebrew for my Lord.

If you are a believer it will increase your love of the Lord ( Adonai) to learn the meaning of the many Hebrew names of God ( Elohim)- for example, every time a bible uses LORD in capital letters,in the Old Testament, it is the Hebrew letters, YHWH, from which we get  the names Yahweh or Jehovah. Jesus' true Hebrew name is Yeshua which means salvation. Awesome, right?

Just find a bible believing Hebraic roots ministry...it will blow your mind !

Would like to hear live version with Greg Singing. This song is still as powerful and poignant as it was when released back in 1984. One of my all time favorites along with Whole World. Petra was one of the all time great bands and not just Christian. Many main stream musicians respect and were influenced by them.
