Hey I got a question, I was looking to buy that same guitar but in the CTFA finish, is it worth it if I'm mostly gonna play unplugged? Oh and your a boss kid (:

I'm not very sure about how well the guitar sounds as compared to other brands, but i believe it's a preference thing - I use a H4 to record unplugged, so I guess the sound's okay :) but when I use my Ovation to play in church, I can get her to sound like almost anything - the on-board eq's surprisingly flexible and versatile.

I usually cut my mids, and push my base slightly above the midpoint. Trebles I keep them at the midpoint, or slightly higher with new strings

@hando7183 thanks! This video, and most of my videos, is played freestyle, no music sheets involved... i find It's more fun that way ^^
