@poolboyinla Were you born an idiot back then or is it just a recent thing? Scott Weiland has never lip synched. I was at the Cincy show and I was also in the front row when he fell off stage. He's not using a backing track and if you had half a brain or knew anything about STP's music you would know that Weiland uses a megaphone during the chorus of Crackerman. When he fell, he lost his megaphone but kept singing without the megaphone. His voice came through the speakers without the effect.
I got this feeling Tiny Music would've been better known and more widely received, had Scott been able to tour properly and keep STP on top. I mean, it's a solid album. Isn't everything STP?
Tiny Music is the most original album of the 90's. Name another 'grunge band' that was this versatile.
I think this album was their best just because of how the songs all gel together. There isn't one song on this album that stands out, they all are just great tunes.
If you are a person that gets really annoying songs stuck in your head to the point where you want to destroy everyhting around you to make it stop, the no matter what you can play the opening riff in your head of this song and it clear what ever shitty song is in your head right out
I actually like "Tiny Music..." and "Shangri-La Dee Da" a lot because I feel that is original. Core was a little grungy (still good) and Purple was a nice balance, but I like how this album was a new area, and that the band experimented. It gets boring when a band does the same music over and over
I fucking love this song. I'm not part of the group of people that hated STP when they went "softer", they were awesome both ways, whether it was the harder grunge stuff, or the "Tiny Music" kind of music. This song in particular, I've just loved for a long time. It's one of the best "last track"s I've heard on an album because when it plays, it just blasts out of nowhere after the calmer song before it, which was called "Daisy"

That era of STP always kind of pisses me off because they were really on their game as far as the songwriting but they were getting into the "unplugged" sound or whatever. I like music to be hard rockin'.

Little bit of something for everyone on that LP. Damn shame the tour behind it fell apart.

Agreed, it is their best album and it is the best band ever. Too bad they'll die someday, this will be the day I'll lose hope on good music.

Hell yeah, I really liked Tiny Music, kind of because they were a little more alternative which fits their style. Lady Picture Show is awesome also.
