I learned to Play when I was 4. When I was 9, my dad and I joined this OLD time country band. We played every friday and saturday night from 7-11...The point is....Keeping simple patterns like this is really what made me the drummer I am today. You learn fundamentals and have a lot of room to try new things. You've got him on the right track. Impressed :)
