I live in spanish fort, al
we had the eye come right over us and a huge tree was within hair width of hitting our house not to mention the front windows blew out. one of the worst nights of my life
my hearts go out to those that lost loved ones to this storm

I'm in Biloxi, and Ivan didn't do much here at all. Ivan was primarily a Florida and Alabama storm - unfortunately for them!

Dude, you are not kidding. And everyone said we'd never have another one worse than Camille. I always knew they were pushing our luck saying that!
I live in Gulf Shores, AL. God, we got that damn eyewall and my house was destroyed.

Now, that's a fact.
I remember watching this from Dothan after evacuating from Pensacola... I'm glad I left for that storm.

Pros of Hurricane Season:
Great Weather Channel Coverage (Hurricane Mitch in 1998 and Hurricane Lili in 2002 were the best though)
Cons of Hurricane Season:

and the eye got us dead center
on nasty storm
haha ya think, I was glad this is all we got!! but we got ours less than a year later (Katrina)
