  • you have absolutely know idea how to use this, this is an example of all the gear and no idea. this pedal is sick in the right hands.

  • So what equipment are you using to record this?

  • Just bought this pedal. Sounds nothing like this video. Learn how to use it before posting a video next time.

  • @Animatronica You are damn right.

  • sounds like $#!+ dude

  • sounds like the sensitivity is turned WAY up. lots of random background artifacts too...hmmm

  • this seems like a very biased review

  • Hahahaaa! It sounds fun.

  • Low frequency Farts!

  • your better of with Boss Synth

  • Piece of scheisse

  • I'd rather butt hump a crystal meth tweeker with a cheese grater condom than buy this shithole dung pile of a synth pedal.

  • @TheCosmicbass no one is asking you to... be thankful he bought it to demonstrate to people for similar you can get better...

  • This would be a slightly more insightful review if the author actually used the decay rate knob. Of course it's going to sound bad if you set the decay rate as fast as possible and set the resonance really high. It's almost as if the reviewer wanted this review to sound terrible.

  • I know its just a review and not - BUT....... it sounds me like a f***in alien F***in mutant took a F***in shit in your f***in bass amp ;-P

  • I have a Eko bass pedals(kinf of look like Taurus bass pedal)but thereare no sound out of it except the pure organ bass sound.I'm wondering if this pedal u used here can get close to the kind of lazer sound in beginning of Tom Sawyer(Rush)???

  • I bought this pedal a while ago (to make live dubstep) and it is really good fun, it just takes a while to tweek the controls and get a good sound.

Today I bought the FCV100 to modulate the sound (get the wobbles going) but it has no effect whatsoever, am I setting it up wrong or is the expression pedal just a reject? I dont want to return it and it turns out to be fine...

    Anyone able to help me?

  • @codemarla ya im having the same problem....im not shure if its purely just the name (mod vs exp...) or some other bs, i emailed boss, send me a message if you want to know whats up

  • @onionbuskut

It tuns out the problem was that I was using a mono jack lead when it has to be a stereo lead.

I should pay more attention to the manual really.

  • @codemarla no shit? the manual dosnt really mention that, its just a bunch of usless specs and stuf, ill try that out though! thank you in advance!!! you replyed faster than boss could anyways....now i just have to find a stereo bridge...

  • @codemarla from what I know you should use a TRS ("stereo") jack cable to connect it to the pedal.

  • must examples played, sounded extremely stupid

    who would use this?

  • Twiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

  • HELP! ive bought this and it turns on and off

  • @natrockskate it's problem with all behringer pedals

    you must use ac/dc adapter...

    yeah! AC/DC!

  • Niceeee

  • it is perfekt!!!! i boght it yeterday and its awesome

  • ima run this thruough my guitar :D

  • @justinsanesaid12 How does it sound though your guitar?

  • @Dannymusic1999 idk i havent bought it yet. i was merely stating an idea.

  • Hey guys, try the Electro Harmonix ENIGMA : Q BALLS !!!

  • how many pedals do you have in your pedal board?hehe

  • i have one question, can i use guitar preamp on synth?

  • Mmm, not sure which pedal to get to use with my Big Muff Pi, it's either the Digitech or the Boss SYB-3

  • go with the Boss.

  • I own the pedal. It's great. This is a really crappy demo!!!

  • HEY! He did a good review of a bad effect.

  • sounds like a pussy fart!!! buy this pedal if you want to sound weak and shitty.

  • Wow that sounds like shit!

  • i have it and it aint that bad can work with good tweeking.

  • The pedal sounds shit but that may be because the guy playing is shit, either way there is no chance I will be getting that pedal.

  • I like my digitech bass synth pedal better.

  • bass synth wah?.......lol, i got one 2..try th boss one it wil make you shit your self......

  • Either a bad demonstration or the pedal stinks!

Virtually all effects heard are 100% unusable.

  • I now know what ass sounds like... Terrible pedal!

  • like a ATARI video game jaja

  • sounds like shit. aaaaa

  • I use it all the time on gigs. And we play rock. Although I have the original Boss syb-3.

  • it doesn 't track great for rock though .. ?

  • how do you compare both of them? :)

Syb-3 is amazing... but I couldn't try the Behringer yet... :D

  • please me. who ande where use this?

maybe in home 4fun.. but in studio or some concert .... i dont see that ;/

  • this pedal reminds me of that time i got diahrea....darn you month-old-biscuit!....those sounds are the sounds of intestinal chaos... X(

  • @Ifyousayso666 It totally does sound like a bowel movement. :(

  • This is actually a pretty useful pedal.

Maybe he just got it and hadn't played with it enough.

I assure you with the right settings it sounds pretty awesome.

  • where is the toilet paper?

  • I need to go toilet..

  • this pedal reminds me of that time i got diahrea....darn you month-old-biscuit!....those sounds are the sounds of intestinal chaos... X(

  • hahaha

  • wow this is terrible

  • behringer equalizer sucks boss'es better ;D

  • Boss are better

  • woah, i just discovered these pedals and they're so trippy. Can they be used on a standard guitar?

  • i dont see why not. everything is connected by 1/4 inch cords

  • You could but it won't sound quite so rad.

  • maybe because of the range. Maybe they only work for bass frequencies. Boss goes from A0 to C5, so, some notes on your guitar will not be processed (at least in boss)

  • they could, but they wouldnt work as well. its made to handle bass frequencies, not high frequencies

  • Most of the ones at the start sound like water plopping into more water

  • I am a BIG behringer fan, but I've got to say, the boss bass synth is so much better :(

  • Please try the Electro Harmonix Micro Bass Synthesizer, I think it sounds way more natural, it's a bit more expensive, but it's worth it..

  • But it lacks a decent square wave, in my opinion the most important thing in a synth pedal. So my advice would be getting some serious cash and hunting ebay for an akai deep impact.

  • waste of time and waste of money for this one!!!!

  • no offence but the boss synth bass pedal is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better i dont like beheringers anyways they sound plastic and are poorly many imo

  • i know

  • this is a review. not an opinion. its here to show what it can do, not compare it to other pedals.

  • @bobulibobium exactly!~!~

  • I am not a huge fan of this pedal I actually bought just to check it out and review it.

  • @ganderd Hello, GREAT VIDEO. I have a doubt, please can you tell me if this BSY600 would sound good with a Guitar ?? Can this pedal TRACK all 6 string at same time for Chords correctly ??? Even with Overdrive or Distortion ?? Cheers ....

  • @mwright165 I think the digitech one actully much better than both the Beheringer one and the boss one.

  • does it do more than stacato's with the "fake plug" in the express pedal input?

never thought of that! thnx for reviewing

  • how much did this puppy run ya?

  • about $50

  • this is awesome on guitar! just got it, totally rules for prog alt stuff, mars volta especially

  • Any way you can remove the attack? Like, that stupid bew bew bew noise on your initial string hits? It's inconsistent and ridiculous. I would buy this thing if I knew I could turn that off.

  • Nevermind, haha. Watched the rest of the video and found that mono plug idea. Hmmmmmmmm. I've got some consideration to do. I think I'll make a run to a store and see if I can test it out.

  • nope, if you plug a mono cable into the controller spot it helps.

  • Its not as good as the boss one but its like a 3rd of the price so not bad at all for the money

  • boss is better to dnb

  • When u plugged in the mono cable, it sounded a little better. I'm confused tho.. If the first cable is plugged into your bass, what is the mono cable hooked up to?

  • the mono cable is just connected to the pedal and the alone completes the circuit.

  • I tried one of these today, the signal from my TR626 drum machine was a tad weak but the sound was marvellous. Sure could use a compressor or preboost pedal before this one in the chain though.

Then it decided to drain my 9v battery and boil it and commit suicide, no power adapters could bring it back to life. Returned to the store with a sad face, got my money back and resumed saving up for a KP3 :(

  • I should the way it handles attack is kinda crappy perhaps some heavy compression before this pedal would make it more usable. I say this because often if you play with any aggressiveness its all lazer sounds for the attack on most settings :(

  • it's a SYB-5 clone, same sounds, but not as expensive as the BOSS.

  • Thanks for the video, man.... I've been wanting to add a bass synthesizer pedal to my arsenal now for a while but don't have the bread for anything expensive and real flashy. Might pick this up to fool around with!
