  • you are verry good at lis for your first time mati

  • Great job and all but my layout is a circle and i use 14 awg wire, just go to home depot or somwthing and pick up the pack, its much easier to run and ALOT more current

  • super videos , easy to follow , first time i heard someone explain it as easy as you well done man keep up the good work

  • im just guna say thanks, knowing what DCC does i thought it was ALOT more complex thanks for showing this

  • another thing with the 8 barrier strip thin one for + n the other for - is the rest for the feeds to the track

do u neeed to soilder them to the track

  • i have one question

why do u need the 8 one barrier strip thingy and then a 2 barrier strip thingy

why cant they all be 2 why

    do

    you need both, different types

  • @modeltrainteen95 because the 8 strip is for all the feeder wires in a module. the 2 barrier strip is for connections between the modules.

  • @modeltrainteen95 for expansion down the road, more tracks/modules/acc's

  • Love your series, great job. To be of help, please consider using 14 or 12 gauge bus wiring for your layout, it will handle the loads needed for your locomotives, switches, etc. much better than thin gauge telephone wire.

  • whats yur job cause u keep moving

  • do ur wires the black and yellow ones connect to the bus wire/s in any way

    if yes how and where

  • do u run the bus wires on the barrier strip thingo

  • where did you get the wire blue print from?

  • Thanks for posting your layout videos. Looking forward to future updates and seeing your locos running.

  • jlwii2000... can you show how to wire turn tracks (switch tracks) for dcc operations?... i can not find a video for that online...

  • @jluvbaby do u mean points/like his cross over

  • @jmsschooner ... i want to learn how to control the cross over track from the dcc controller... need to figure out how to set it up for that function....

  • the only thing I would worry about is that the 24 gage wire is only good for 1.3 amps and that is one sound equipt loco. you might start having problems if you run more than one loco. I hope not, but that is why they recommend larger gage wiring. the size of your layout does have something to do with it as length effects voltage drop as well as the ability to carry the current. Hope this does not affect you!

  • well it work if i have a bust line and i take a wire and connect it to the bust with a suitcase connector and take that wire and connect it to a block and connect feeder wires to the block.

  • Do you have an easy way to line up the segments of your layout? I see you have clamps to keep them together

  • my brother is a electriction and he was like i dont want to do the wireing for the lay out we r building. so your videos are helping me greatly. nice work and showing us how to do this step by step

  • I like the bus line wiring, It looks great! Keep up the great work!

  • It all so what the wire is made of
