Hello I have a 1970 280sel and I really want to Add a air system what kind are you running if it is possible can you lete know because my car has a strut suspension?

TO START THE REASON WHY THESE PEOPLE DO THIS IS BECAUSE THEY HAVEN'T BETTER TO DO WITH THERE LIFE OR TIME THEY HAVE STUDIED CA RDESIGN OR ENGINEERING AND THEY DECIDE PLAY AROUND WITH A HIGH SPEC CLASSIC CAR LIKE THIS ONE
@KrazeeeLoon it was the standard bags but it was all guttered and re done bags werent squashing in the wrong direction and the ride comfort improved like you wouldnt believe!! i do the miss the old girl!!
@herinderdrew what sort of oxygen waster are you? everything has been properly! the ride comfort improved 10 fold instead of sitting as high as an old F100. just by dropping it 3 inches from standard height at 100 MPH there was none of that horrible float that they get, shockers were doing there job and stopping the bottoming out! so pull ya head in turtle season is out! you are not even worth an insult! go back to being a keyboard warrior somewhere else!!
The naming of the v8-models in the w108/109 series is a bit tricky because it´s based on the chassis and not the engine displacement. For the inline-six models it´s quite easy: 250S/250SE got the 2.5 liter; 280S/280SE/280SEL the 2.8 liter (the 280 got longer wheelbase and some other extras) and the early 300SE/300SEL got a 3 liter engine, later models a stronger 2.8 liter version. The point is, that the upcoming v8-models got exact the same chassis as the..
..smaller versions 280SE/280SEL and 300SE/SEL (no 250S/SE/280S). So you have the strange constellation that there are models like 280SE 3.5 and 300SEL 3.5 which have the same engine, but different extras like air suspension in the 300 models. Your 6.3 and this 3.5 only got different engines, the rest is like a 300SEL with inline-six. And the 4.5 liter v8 is a model which replacet the 3.5´s only in the united states because of more torque, which customers wanted in america.

The W109 model's came standard with air suspension anyway. So in a way he's just upgraded from a w108 to w109/

what valves are you running and what size lines? car takes a long time to life... how big is the tank

@drinkeither 3/8 line with 3/8 asco valves and a 5 gallon tank , i shouldve gone with 1/2" line valves and 10 gallon tank!

;) w109 is only 300 SE Lang. the long wheelbase. But not the 280SEL.
