Conan the Barbarian is still today a impresive movie.. just look at the scene at 5:43 ... soup with human parts in it ,chopped corps alot of blood so the new one have to get realy hardcore like a saw movie to top the orginal.At this movie is so much heart like you can see all the epic backgrounds the woods,mountains,deserts,steps the music of Poledouris and so on.The new one will be 85% CGI and rock music and no heart at all like this one.

@ac3b1s I totally agree with you, but perhaps you didn't understand my comment: there's no way the new film will do justice to the original, most likely it will be a shame for the franchise. Unfortunately , only a few people like you and me , devoted fans from the beginning, are aware of that. The others will just leave the movies saying Conan is another brainless and poor summer blockbuster and consider the entire series (particularly the original) as such. Even though they haven't seen it.
