@mya32189 No, but what the doctor does is to suture that harvest area. In the case of a micrograft surgery, the doctor should use a trichophytic donor closure method. In the case of FUE, it's very minimal.
@MichaelSias So is it possible to use donor hair from another body part if so, will the new donated hair grow like the rest of the hair you have on your head such as same color texture and growth rate ?
I think this would only be a viable option for patients that have most of their own hair on top.Norwood 4-6 then I personally wouldn't offer the FUE option. It would diffuse the back of your head (donor site) giving the client a super thin look. Still, the strip method is best for severe hairloss patients. You need to remember is the FUE method is much more expensive and requires more surgeries to accomplish what the strip method can do in just one procedure and much less expensive.
Thinning of the donor region is actually good for MPB sufferers, as long as it is even. It helps match the barren HT zones to the horeshoe because the horseshoe is not as profound. I disagree with you that strip is better for big loss although strip gives the most profound change quickly. If you are Norwood 6 you don't wanna strip scar, you want to be able to buzz or closely crop if the need arises.
Definatly not better than fue, even one of the techs uses the Neograft to only extract the graft just above the skin, and doesnt let the machine suck it up because he said it damages it, this isnt Dr Baumans invention so i'm not having a dig at him, its just I havent seen a single neograft result that comes anywhere near being as good as a good fue result.
@0biW8n Actually, minimally-invasive NeoGraft has LESS of a chance of damaging grafts than other types of transplant, including manual FUE. It seems to be more accurate and more efficient. The numbers of follicles harvested and the average hair/graft tells the true story. --Dr. B.
It does work amazingly well. Much more advanced, with numerous patient advantages. Surgical patients include a variety of types, from severe to touch-up.
How much it cost for 3000 grafts FUE or strip

Is this cheaper than old hair transplant

@jgq85 Yes and no. It costs more than the strip method, but you get more hair in return and significantly less harvest-area scarring.

@capricious71 See videos on 'Nalts' or 'Greg Benson...' these are patients who have more severe hair loss to start with.
