Greater means greater, better, more impressive. I can understand why you would imply he meant 'more works' because that is easier to prove. In context he says greater works will be done, he didn't say: "The works I do you will do and many more works" he clearly says greater.

A true demonic possession would be constituted by strange voices, smells, foreign languages or extinct tounges like Latin or Arameic. You would also see super human strenghth, this is influence imo.

A hypnotist can make a person believe they are a chicken and even convince them to hatch an egg. They can also make people take off their clothes with a simple command. There is no reason hypnosis can't make a person "act" possessed. Especially if the hypnotist offers a little cash incentive to help establish his show. @santiago262 I think your explanation that Jesus saying those who believe will do greater meaning 'more' is a bit of a cop out. If he meant more, he would have said more, simple. Greater means greater, better, more impressive. I can understand why you would imply he meant 'more works' because that is easier to prove. In context he says greater works will be done, he didn't say: "The works I do you will do and many more works" he clearly says greater.

A true demonic possession would be constituted by strange voices, smells, foreign languages or extinct tounges like Latin or Arameic. You would also see super human strenghth, this is influence imo.

A hypnotist can make a person believe they are a chicken and even convince them to hatch an egg. They can also make people take off their clothes with a simple command. There is no reason hypnosis can't make a person "act" possessed. Especially if the hypnotist offers a little cash incentive to help establish his show. If I was raking in 1000's a week, id invest a few hundred towards some "actors" to get recognition too.

My statement was clear that hypnosis can achieve the same result. So all you witnessed could have been just that.

Just because you know him so well does not mean hypnotism will not work on him, or you for that matter. Just because you say he doesn't mess with hypnosis, doesn't mean he is not able for it to work under another guise, that being an "exorcism". Hypnotic methods can be used under another title. I have a question, the events you describe regarding the cross and holy water make it sound like a Catholic exorcism. Is that what it was?

But demons are real dude, ive seen hypnotised people, this wasnt even close to a hypnotism act, he said he wasnt hypnotised, because even when your possesed you remember everything. He said he heard them saying things like to leave holy places, to kill, not allow christians into his life, he fails all language courses in school, he can only speak english, when the excorcism accured, he was speaking latin and hebrew.

Well if you had an evil spirit in you....im sorry to hear it. It does not mean everyone has them. If you exposed yourself to something to receive it then thats your concern.
I have had fanatical religious nuts(not implying you are....yet) tell me that people have evil spirits that they don't know about. This is just lame excuses to label everyone evil.
Jesus cast out demons that people saw were evident. Deaf or epileptic spasms. Not everyone does this. Thank the good lord for that!

I do not recall Jesus or any of His disciples behaving in such a ridiculous manner, or jesus and His followers would have been executed so much sooner.
