You gotta love how "gamers" who have come to expect a standard of quality from a video game, (to the extent to cry and complain about typical 80's ending) but still haven't beaten one of the founding pillars of the gaming industry. It's sad really.
@UndrDogSSBM Yeah, isn't that just sad? I loved this game and the ending was just what I expected. And hell, it was satisfying for me. This game brought a lot to adventure games and RPGs, its influence can be seen all across gaming, and they're still using the Zelda formula today.
dun tell me u couldnt find the red ring :P and u didnt get bomb limit upgrades? either u didnt know or didnt want em but either way quest 1 is easier then 2. least ya found all heart containers :P
what great music...I loved this game...I had a nintendo emulator on my pc and played this and had a walkthrough for it,...for some reason it screwed up and I was pretty far in the game and I had to go back a few levels after the game crashed and I wasn't able to save it in time.
LaiSteve66, just to let you know, there were 2 quests for the original game, so that means that you're going to have to record the 2nd ending at the end of the 2nd quest, and upload it.
jamal22066, were you expecting strippers and booze or something? This was an 80s game, not as sophisticated as your precious grand theft auto or whatever nowadays.
Well give em a break it was the dawn of home video game entertainment. They had no idea how this game would affect the world of video games. But that classic ending theme makes me proud to play the Zelda games.

If you thought that was bad, try beating the American version of "Karnov."
All you get for beating that game is cheesy music with a simple congratulations in white text on a black screen.
