The Prouder clan are very distinguished martial artists and have long been legendary in kenpo karate circles and have had the utmost respect. But Moore is no joke and that spinning backfist was sicc. The left leg roundhouse KO was a TITE response! Moore got CRACKED,yo.
I have known Alvin in the 1980 & 90's. Many people don't know that Alvin was shot in the head and told he would never fight or walk again. The story of his magnificent incredible come back from that too again take 1st in the Internationals just two years later is the stuff that movies were made from. In my opinion he is in the top five greatest BKF fighters of All time. There was no better all round champion than Alvin Prouder. Producers should take a closer look at his story.
I fought Alvin once in a LA tournament in the late 80's. Scored the 1st point and that pissed him off. Of course he beat me. Great fighter. Also fought Tony Satch Wiliams as a brown belt in 1981 then later in 1990. My last tournament. Got one point then he killed me with that crazy backfist of his. He fought Alvin Prouder that day also and beat him. Alvin lined up behind me that day cause he beat me before. Tony then lined behind him. They fought in the 1st round. Those guys were the best!
Alvin Prouder has a bullet in his head that's never been removed. Dude was really nice to me when I was a kid. Satch, Cynthia and Ray will also be some of my favorites growing up in the circuit.
alvin, cynthia and ray wizard spent the night at my house back in 1996 when my parents thru a tournament in manteca ca. Tolson 4 Taekwondo. Much love....\
I fought alvin in 98 at a small tournament in LA. I was like 16 or 17 and it was great to compete against him! I won but only cuase he was not the same fighter (obviously) after so many years. neatless to say I was very proud of myself!
Alvin is a good friend. I was promoted to 4th Degree Black Belt by Eddie "Flash" Newman at his and Cynthia's school. He was a great WKA Champion and is still one of the Greatest Martial Artists I have ever been blessed to train with. Thanks for putting Alvin's fight up on here! Chico De Coster
Saw Mr. Prouder at a Kajukenbo School in Inglewood, CA school last year. He looked deceptively unsteady on his feet but sparred with the moves of a champion even as he held back. It's a shame that the young students observing did not realize what a resource they had in their presence.
People! My English is BAD! Answer me Alvin is Alive or not?!?!?!?! I'm his biggest fan in Russia. Please ansver!!!!

Hey there. I use to compete in the circuit here in Cali back in early 90s. I remember Alvin and Satch pretty well, it brings back plenty of memories.
