If you do it just right you can give up to 44 damage with one flutter kick, it's tough to get it perfect though.

(5x44)+20= 240 damage possible!

I've tried to do this and as the guides say (to get 200% damage) for hours now but for some reason the bat throws up but Yoshi lands before I can press A to try to attack the damn bag, this is just an impossible thing to even attempt

First, pick up the bat. Then, jump over it and press Down + A in the air so that every kick lands. Then, repeat that process until the timer says 2 or 1 (The bag should have a little over 150%, if I'm not mistaken). Then, swing the bat. It will be sent far.

I do that. I only get about 20% with each hit and can only get about 4-5 hits in, so I'm lucky if I can get 100%, and that is only enough to get 350-370m.

I think I read somewhere that on the PAL version, Yoshi's Down + A does less damage than on the NTSC version.

It is really frustrating trying to unlock the past stage.

Yes, that's true, it does 1% less damage per kick, which equals 34% damage (I think). Anyway, if you live in America, you should have NTSC. A way to check is to go to Training Mode and do ADA to an enemy. If all 14 kicks land and if it does 35% or more, you have NTSC.

Another way is to use Ganon and keep doing UpA Smash then ADA. At the last second, press B and send it flying.
