Very well said KUKU9841. BTW themostmystfellow Krishna devotees have not now nor have they ever been hippies. I'm not a devotee, But I've been around them basically all my life and I'm the niece of one. They are wonderful people who deserve respect.

@lilkalanadiangirl31 Come on! There were plenty of hippies in the Krishna movement! Including George Harrison. So what? They also deserve respect for challenging war, racism etc. People today don't even know what a real hippie was----it was 40 years ago! The devotees had a big center in the Haight, and the LES also. An LSD dealer I knew was one of the first Krishna devotees in NYC. Actually, a Krishna festival is about as close to a Be-In as you can get, nowadays ( nowadays-bleh, boring ).
