I really enjoyed Halo Three for ... a few months until the game-play became static and even boring. I was hoping that Halo 3 ODST would be more realistic and contain a higher level of action and game play quality.

I think that more dynamic character interfaces, like mirrors edge and Call Of Duty where you have varying movement speeds (Ie. COD 4 sprint) and more than just a standard jump (Dynamic movements like slides and vaults. Ie.Stranglehold or Mirrors edge) make for better gameplay.

Fredder, a game that lasts a month is a pretty decent game... most games last a week or so before being completed and u cant replay or keep playing. Halo is neverending with multiplayer constantly changing and forge etc, making it last years for me if your good at it.

2) Yea, its balanced in the fact that 2 > 1

3) Its not a bade game either, it had decent game play, an OK story, and has it moments where you will be laughing for days over stupid shit.

Well the "drop thingy" is a SOEIV (Single occupant exo-atmospheric insertion vehicle)

the exo-atmospheric bit means you drop in from above earth's atmosphere, so theoretically, you'd be falling from about 250,000ft at terminal velocity, which would be about 200mph.

I'm not gonna work that out but it'd take about 5 minutes to hit the ground

Run throughs of the games on easy (no wandering straight through) have taken seven hours...the difference in time from easy to legendary is alot. Not really sure where this 5hr thing is "confirmed" from but its a load of horseshit and if you don't believe me there are plenty of vids to show it.
