  • Is there any way to hack into Fox News and replace the music intros for their "journalists"'s shows with this song? Chickenhawks every single damn one of them.

I'd love to go on o'Reilly's show, play this song, and tell him how brave he is for wanting to send other people's kids to die for his country.

  • You can add Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, and O-bomb-a. All the candidates except for Ron Paul are chicken hawks. Ron Paul is the only Veteran running for President. He was a Captain and Flight Surgeon in the USAF.

  • @TruthMakesPeace Yeah, maybe, but who cares first of all? How does surviving getting shot at in a fight qualify you for running a country? Especially if you believe that a magic man in the sky created the entire universe and that scientific findings about reality are made up? Especially if you believe that gold has some magical intrinsic value that will fix all the world's problems if you base your currency on it?

Ron Paul's not a chickenhawk, maybe. He's as crazy as the rest of them though.

  • great video thanks

  • Gingrich! Ha ha, Chickenhawk! Bok bok bok.

  • Anyone else think it's more ironic that Dick Cheney got seven deferments, then became Secretary of Defense under Bush I?

  • Donald Rumsfeld, Sean Hannity, Ronald Reagan, John Wayne, Ted Nugent. All these chickenhawks never hesitated to send Americas finest young men to be slaughtered, but when they were called for to fight in a war, they chickened out like the yellow cunts they were. Backbackbackback!

  • this sounds vaguely beetleish

  • Fracking water on fire amayonaizing.

Bush did make the ultimate sacrifice of

getting a tooth cavity filled even while playing

tennis in the Texas Nat'l Guard.

In reply to danboone, Rumsfeld did see combat

when he stared in the band and movie,

"Commander Cody And His Lost Planet Airmen"

and demonstrated the original Jetpack to a cheering

    largely republican audience.

  • A Freakin'Men!!!

  • Another thing to note is that chickenhawks all love cockfighting - compensation and all that...

  • @LordSia13 Cockfighting is completely heterosexual, cockfighting is completely heterosexual...

  • @TuucciZ I wonder if it's them or their wives that qualify as "peacocks"?

  • His bio says he shared the stage with Bill Maher. Really something to be proud of, Roy.

  • Wow, I forgot the fact that all of the last administration's senior members were all pussies with the exception of Colin Powell.

  • Yeah, and instead of Adlai Stevenson at the UN, showing PHOTOGRAPHS of missiles in Cuba, ol huggybear Powell showed computer DRAWINGS of WMD's in Iraq. Of course, the press, and you and me, were all asleep.

    Wake UP!

  • @allyouneedissushi That's not really the point. The point is, Colin Powell served in Vietnam. Unlike the others, who bitched out, but are sending others into war, Powell actually saw combat. He's not a Chickenhawk.

  • no argument about Powell serving his country. It was the act of serving the President that didn't match his dedication to freedom and truth. I happened to be able to ask him, directly, why peoples of the world hate us so much. I cautioned him NOT to use W's "because we have freedom" - that would cause disgust or jealousy, but murderous intent? Show us one instance in world history where this has been proven!

    His answer?

    "YOU STOLE MY ANSWER".

  • Nobody laughed. So he tried to recover by saying "well, maybe we act like children and don't listen enough"

Now listen, the man redeemed himself by supporting Obama. Didn't you wonder why he didn't support McCain and Palin? Well, he did make it very clear on Meet The Press.

Anyway, lighten up! Roy Zimmerman is GOD.

  • @Newenlightenmentnow look into his involvement with the My Lai Massacre cover up "Powell's handling of the assignment was later characterized by some observers as "whitewashing" the atrocities of My Lai"

"Behind Colin Powell's Legend -- My Lai" by Robert Parry and Norman Solomon, The Consortium for Independent Journalism, July 22, 1996. but yes at least he served but appears he was admin boot licker, in the rear with the gear....

  • hey, I was a republican and I served, and in a combat zone. Don't paint it as republican versus democrate. It is a matter of them that has and them that don't. "because is a war, that is what the poor are for." Don't think the dems in power are really all THAT much different. Time for all of us to stop supporting parties like they are sports teams, and we are fans.

  • @wotmot223 Wel, I think people that say: "I avoided draft but I think they should go to war" are worse than people saying "I avoided draft and I think they shouldn't go to war".

  • @wotmot223

First you will have to change your whole political system from a de jure multi party system with district representation to a de facto multi party system with equal representation. That's something to fight for. Real democracy.

  • @wotmot223 You're not a politician.

  • man dis is great!

  • what happened to the Mccain song?

  • "Because in a war that's what the poor are for."

I've never laughed while feeling so sad before. I'm lower class and I see a lot of my male friends leave once they hit 18 or twenty to fight for rich pigs who couldn't give a flying fuck about them.

  • @shazbot76

    I read yours.

  • @shazbot76

Because all you have are insults, and who wants to get that in their inbox ad infinitum?

  • "John Kerry's war record"

--Wow, you people condemn George W. Bush when you think he's lying, then you condemn him when you know he's telling the truth, being honest and genuine and respectful.

Amazing. And you say its Conservatives who are full of hate and prejudice. Take a look in the mirror for a "change."

  • Absolute GENIUS

  • Interest to hear what Roy thinks about Baraaaaaaaaaack Obama.

  • This is an awesome performance... Everything he says is true!

"I won't walk the walk, but I can talk the talk..." Great stuff!!!

  • I think the point is you shouldn't send other people to a war when you went to great lengths to escape service yourself--like 5 deferments!

  • Roy Zimmerman and Stephen Colbert should get together and do a musical.

  • @ZARIYL

He isnt proposing sending other people to fight in one.

  • @ZARIYL He's not asking anyone to go to war. You don't need a military history to criticize warmongers

  • @ZARIYL He's not saying that he was in a war, he's just saying that Bush wasn't.

  • @ZARIYL Does not matter. Anyone with a brain can figure this out.

  • @ZARIYL the point is these are the people that support sending other people to war while they never did it themselves.

  • @ZARIYL Not the point. Bush was startign wars and bragging about his war record when he never went ot war and was a coward himself. I don´t support wars and won´t start wars so I can proudly declare I have never been in one without being considered a coward. Bush supports them and sends other people to them but when it came to his onw life he chickened out. That is the point.

  • Actually Rumsfeld did serve honorably. I also think he fell on his sword for Bush. I think they fucked him just like the did Colin Powell. I think Rummy was an OK guy.

  • PNAC - Power Needers Are Chicken

  • I was with some Grad from william and mary who thought she knew what she was talking about because of her degree in political science. She said that FDR was horrible and we should have gone in to WW2 with they attacked Poland. She's never set foot in a war zone, and she'll never have to wacht her loved ones die in a needless. I'm glad we went into WW2 with japan bombed us, but if you back the war and you your not helping your country, get up and enlist.

  • he's awesome at making good music!

  • Roy Zimmerman is the fukken man.

Excellent guitar player, excellent singer, and fucking brilliant as a lyricist.

  • @poromise On the evidence of this song, I think he's the clukken man...

  • Here here! And there!

  • Bauk, bauk, bauk , bauk-bauk-BAUK!

    LOLZ

  • feging right .great !

  • Getting rid of a sizable group of Americans because you dont agree with them? What kind of great nation are you wanting? A 4th Reich maybe?

    Disgusting...

  • no, the 6th Reich, it is gonna be so intense, it skips the other two.

  • You'll do away with Liberals AND guns? How will you scare off the liberals without the guns? What if the liberals and the guns team up? That's a fight you'll lose.

  • Well done!

  • Says the guy who just said "turdtards".

  • Brilliant. A truly well tought-out and educated statement. With such wisdom and and wonderful insights, you could write a book!

  • This guy is a seriously talented musician. Even if you don't agree with his views you need to admit it, yeah?

  • Briliant

  • one of my favorites from roy :p

  • Conservatism = Making the poor guy fight for a crazy vision of America as the conqueror of planet earth. Whilst staying safely out of harms reach yourself.

Seriously... young consies... when you ask them if they'd go to the army they suddenly all have asthma.

That our their the ones who heil to flag and do join the army, but because they actually honestly believe all that propaganda crap.

They're dumb enough to believe it wasn't about non-existant WMD's but to liberate the Iraqi's after all.

  • I mean seriously, I have many reasons to despise the right wing, and their all great ones. But this is yet another flaw in their putrid world view.

As for the left... good ideals, but can the left actually grow some fucking stones and kick in some conserfascist teeth for a change? They need a teethkicking at this point! They started torturing people!

  • Great! I saw him live tonight, and am watching him now on YouTube ... he is even better live.

  • I've wondered how this song would turn out live. He pulls it off much better than I expected.

  • megalulz

  • Actually, Rumsfeld is a veteran of the regular US Navy and subsequently of the Naval Reserve, and (IIRC) has served in combat as a naval aviator.

  • Not during wartime.

  • Actually Rumsfeld NEVER saw combat, NEVER. He was a reservist during Viet Nam but managed to avoid deploying there like the little chickenhawk Republican that he is.

  • I really do enjoy the left v. right food-fight (rhyme!) that always occurs beneath his videos.

  • I vote this song should have a how to play video.

  • This is genius!

  • I was expecting something /really/ different to this... chickenhawk only means this in America.

  • hahaha makes sense

  • Ther's something of an overlap,actually

  • Comment removed

  • A classic! - LOL - I'm so sick of these clucking neocons.

  • This guy is great!

  • ouch!

  • The great U.S? The wage sucks so much on average, the intelligence is below Asia and Europe, people talk shit, and this is place is tits deep in money problems. It lost a trillion dollars in case you forgot. By the way, the U.S is probably the cause of the global recession.

  • "Fox news... balanced"

Three words that don't belong in the same sentence.

  • I disagree. If you put isn't between news and balance then you have a good sentence. Also fub is either an idiot or a troll. I stopped reading his comment at the word hippie.

  • Stop throwing a bitch fit over who is right.

  • Welllll... maybe your country would kick my countries ass, sure.

But I'm sure *I* personally could kick YOUR ass. In fact, I if there where two of you, I could kick both your asses. Although you being American, there's a decent chance your ass is so big it counts as two anyway.

    Fun huh, insulting other countries?

  • Oooh, you're making me SOOO cross I could scream. I don't know whether to slap you really hard on the arm or just have a latte.

  • you were too cowardly to post as reply so i didn't even see your dumb-arse response. yeah i'm thankful for the US for defending us against japan, not some arrogant punk like yourself. stop watching fox, stop fondling your cousin, go out & do a little research, stop taking conservative news on front value, there's an agenda behind everything on the news, yes even hippie lefties have their own. this guy zimmerman is funny & he satirises one aspect of the agenda, that's why we view his pages.

  • time to learn your history dipshit, england persecuted the irish catholics, the majority of people who stole bread to feed a family were sent to australia. We weren't too busily enslaving people, indebting 3rd world nations or starting wars with every country in the world. YOU'RE a joke, learn to spell retard, if not join the army & go get your own stupid arse blown up.

  • Mr. Zimmerman, fantastic song, I apologise for hijacking the thread, I thought I could try to reason with this peson, bring another person, obviously I was wrong. Irregardless, I'm now a fan of your songs, I think they're great"

  • if it wasn't for your contribution to world war 2 i'd be speaking japanese you fuckwit. if you didn't try to instigate a fight between iraq & iran by supplying both sides with weapons then profiting no-one in the middle east would hate you. if you didn't try backing US-influenced dictators in latin american, no-one would hate you there either. before you call me a peacenik, do a little research, i hate the idea of being a muslim state just as much as the idea of being controlled by corporations

  • yeah that's right, go blow everyone up, world police. he i got an idea: let's give the dumbest 10% of the population weapons & then tell them the enemy's taking away nascar & ted nugent. you're a dumb redneck shit, i don't care how good looking she is, keep your hands off your cousin, it leads to more war-monging retards like yourself being bred.

  • don't have koolaid in my country genius, try thinking of your own lines instead of ripping off bill o'reilly.

i don't give praise to the troops, i'll never condone a war, especially one instigated to gain control of the oil. i pity the troops because they're being slaughtered & insulted for being forced into doing the dirty work of a few chickenhawks. if you guys won the war why aren't you at home already? why is the country still fighting? grow a brain & some pubes you immature dipshit

  • if the US army has done such a brilliant job why is it that they're still dying at a steady rate & that there are resurges in resistance in both afghanistan & iraq? is the american government trying to impose another US-puppet leader? don't you think they would've learnt after pinochet, batista, saddam, bin laden ... ? is that why the people of this country are so pissed off they're willing to blow themselves up to be free of another country's oppression? you right-wing chickenhawks are pathetic

  • saddam was orignally a CIA agent, he turned when he realised the gov was interested in oil. we're not saying he's not a fucked up psycho (he is), but no better than the people that are people who are invading, taking over oil, implementing their own facilities which don't benefit many iraqis who never had access to them in the first place, but further place the country in debt, all the while allowing for further exploitation of the people.

  • Osama bin Laden was CIA-backed (and, according to some, still is). Blowback is a bitch...

  • Wow... You're not very intelligent.

  • "set free from an evil dictator"

    Get an education please.

  • Wow. That was amazing.

  • George Bush is Chickenhawk in Chief, and Cheney is #2. Rumsfeld spent the Korea War in NROTC at Princeton University. Only Colin Powell, who actually went to war, questioned the wisdom of the warmongering pussies.

  • Excellent.

  • pure genious!!! BRAVO

  • Awesome Roy. What branch of the service were you in?

  • Army, derr.

  • A clever clever man

  • This is one of my absolute favorite songs from Roy. It sounds even better on the album. :)

Social commentary, humor, honesty...what's not to love?

  • You've sung in 3 minutes what people have been saying for over 3 decades.

  • LOLZORZ!

  • Too bad the powers that be don't give a shit about the truth.

    I love this song.

  • This guy never ceases to amaze.

  • Even in the face of tradgedy ... there is humor and Roy proves it! Tell it like it is Roy...

  • Never has a song with half its lyrics made up of chicken noises been so important. YOU ROCK, ROY!

  • He would have been great as the opening act to Green Day on their American Idiot tour... he needs an arena and not a classroom... this guy is f**kin unbelievable!!!!

  • I completely agree.

  • What this guy needs is a stratocaster, a bassist, a keyboard player, a drummer and a stack of amps!

    Rock on

  • I agree with the post before this one. Right on.

  • If you listen to his lyrics and his references to the neocons... it shows that this is a guy who knows exactly what's going on in america. keep it up!

  • Guess what? If you live in the USA and you pay taxes, it affects you! Not only are we paying for this war now, we will be paying for this for a long time (vets anyone?). And I don't know if your a dude under 26, but with the military being stretched this thin, a draft in the future will be very likely. Not to mention the people we're pissing off because we're in the effing region (starts with a 9 ends with an 11?).

  • well said

  • You should have used ``affect''. So much for stupidity.

  • "the buck stops here" fucking genius.

  • Why is the title of this song censored on iTunes?

  • It's not another Vietnam because there isn't as great a public outcry against it. The outrage is all talk, no action.

  • As someone old enough to have gone through Vietnam, let me make this observation: Bring back the draft and then see what happens when the kids of the wealthy start getting sent to Iraq to support the rationale du jour offered by the president.

  • and there IS a great public outcry against it already, without a draft.

  • Were are the marches? Were is the action with rational argument? Why aren't we making our Congress, the Republicans too, act against the way this war is being handled? Sovereignty ultimately falls to the people, so it's our responsibility. Our voices must be louder than the corporations, and there are enough of us to do it.

  • I am against the war, and would rather not be drafted to fight in it. The situation in Iraq is bad enough already without people being forced to enlist. I don't think Bush cares about how much of a public outcry there is.

  • There isn't as much outcry b/c the administration is better at getting people to follow them blindly. They're playing the unpatriotic card, and the "with us or against us" card as well, which I think was used by certain fascists in the past. But on a brighter note, Zimmerman is the man.

  • Awesome.

  • Let's just add this one to the list of pure genius

  • I wonder how many son´s and daughters of Senators and Governors that fight´s in Iraq today? Not many.

Just like the Creedence clearwater revivle song: It ain´t me, It ain´t me, I am no fortunate son!

Fuck the poor people, let them go to war and die.

I have reed about those kids who came home from vietnam, they where threated like human garbage. The government did not want to no that they even existed, because they were living proof of their mistake.

  • This is the funniest and most true song of the decade. Thanks so much!!

  • Heck ya man! Thanks for adding another reason for me to laugh =)

  • Awesome song Roy, LMAO.

  • Damn cool . . . I don't usually applaud my monitor, but you've broken me of that habit.

  • Ive gotten into the habit of doing that... you don't have to worry too much, its when you start punching your monitor at people that are really, really fucking annoying that is worrying.

  • goddamn chickenhawks. i say if you support the war, GO FIGHT IT.

  • That song says it all! They are big chickenhawks who will send you and yours to die for them. IMPEACH.

    RON PAUL 2008

  • Yeah, because what we really need is to replace one crazy asshole with another, even crazier asshole.

  • Good one, Roy! Keep up the initiative!

  • This guy has become one of my favorite people of all-time.

  • Just let this guys do what his do, sing and play guitar

  • who?

  • Roy has just got to do one on the America's "Ultimate Coward" and chickenhawk of chickenhawks right winger Ted Nugent who admitted in an interview with the Detroit Free Press (July 15, 1990) to urinating and defecating in his pants for an entire week to avoid serving his country during the Vietnam War. Now he's making "Blood Money" preaching around the country about the Constitution and patriotism. Hypocrisy at its finest.

  • Perhaps he didn,t want to go die for this illegitimate government in a war of aggression. He is not disqualified from speaking out promoting patriotism and the need to return to a Constitutional Republic. He is an American citizen and a free man, whose God-gien rights are protected by the Constitution. Believe me, he will fight when it is necessary to protect our Nation!

  • He'll fight alright - he'll fight to keep himself from urinating and defecating in his pants again. A coward is a coward, and a Leopard doesn't change his spots.

  • Well done Roy, nice to see some people taking on the criminals in your Administration. As for boyboy and konopelli - Take your sophomoric debate about ethanol and the rest elsewhere. Dicks.

  • ionizer?

hey, bubba: eat shit and die, okay?

  • Oooo, that was witty. Well, I am half right on that score. Dumbass.

  • Hey you Spinsters.... Let's give Roy Zimmerman kudos...

Great Stuff Roy, let the comedy write itself.

  • Now that we are blind, the one eyed man is king. I changed my party listing from Democrat to decline to state after Congress didn't cut off the funding for the war. Congress won't do jack in September either despite no progress on any of the criteria agreed upon because corporate surgar daddies line the pockets on both sides of the aisle to keep things going their way.

  • awsome!!!!!!!

  • There are stupid, bellyaching liberals just like their conservative and very publicly known counterparts. However, there are those who make sense and say things like "we should stop going and imposing our views on cultures that are completely different and about which even the leaders of our country seem to know nothing."

  • Gee, I guess in your screwy fantasy world the Iraq study group, the Levin-Reid plan for phased withdrawl, the recent Iraq budget Bush vetoed, and Kerry's well articulated plan of not being a Bush-style ignorant twit don't count as alternate plans. Thanks for playing, chicken hawk, but we liberals prefer to live in reality.

  • If you beat a conservative with a baseball bat in order to steal their money. They won't question your actions or motives. They'll give you advice on how to beat them better, how to choose a proper bat and how to get the maximum amount of money out you.

They understand that if you're giving positive constructive criticism, that you're part of the problem.

  • Well you see, that is excactly why people are so mad. These so-called conservatives (they're not, really) got us in to a situation that is so f'ed there really isn't any solid solution.

  • And by complaining about liberals OR conservatives, one marks oneself a total ignorant fool. Anyone who has any idea what is really wrong with this country recognizes the divisiveness that the mainstream media and politicians feed to the blinded masses is probably the most dangerous thing we face today, terrorists included.

P.S. - There's no war on lightning (or hurricanes, for that matter), but you're more likely to be struck by that than a terrorist attack.

  • I have to agree with the point of your postscript. Yes, ONE PERSON tried to bring liquid explosives onto an airplane. For quite a while after that, no one was allowed to bring any liquids. What? What good is locking the door AFTER the livestock have escaped?

  • And howsabout the healthcare situation? I'm not so sure that I like the idea of national health coverage, or any of the ideas for it. However, notice how only the Democratic candidates even mention it? All you conservatives do is talk shit about our plans to fix this, and you haven't come up with one thing yourselves.

  • Why should there even be national healthcare? That's what insurance is for. Why should my taxes pay for your operation, especially if it's something like lung cancer because you smoked all your life, or a bypass because you couldn't be bothered to take care of your body? Yes, some people get sick, and it's not there fault. But again, that's why we have insurance.

  • The whole problem is that the insurance prices are so ridiculous, 45 million Americans can't afford the rates no matter how hard they work. Sure, some of the health problems are self-inflicted, but most aren't. The idea being put forth now is a universal coverage for catasptrophic care (lose an arm to a table saw, etc.) and children. Things like lung cancer would be private prerogative.

  • I brought it up because someone said liberals complain without coming up with ideas (which of course, is just as false as saying conservatives do the same). One could say that conservatives do that with the health care issue. Conservatives recommend letting the private health sector take care of itsself. Liberals (and true conservatives) said that about Iraq. Point? Stop listening to your respective media (FNC con, NPR lib) and fucking THINK FOR YOURSELF.

  • Just because NPR has features on arts, literature, and international news does not make it a "lib" news source. NPR presents opposing views and isn't bashful about taking the "libs" to task.

  • NPR = Never Provoke Republicans

You cant spell 'republican' without NPR...

  • I've heard NPR proved Republicans on numerous occasions.
