i guess you can define " a typical Brazilian look"...to some extent:) Brazilians are usaully considered to be dark haired, dark eyed, with browny skin. Gisele is white, with typical central European features, that is why loads of people treat her as unique...

You're Czech, what do you know? Brazilians of German ancestry (I prefer to call them that way instead of German-Brazilians, what implies that they're less Brazilians than the rest) are proud of their ancestry as well as Brazilians of all other ancestries, but they don't think they're superior.

I was born and raised in America, and that makes me American despite having a German, Austrian, French background. The same goes for Gisele, she is Brazilian by culture.

No, it's not. Your blood origins proof your ethnicity. Gisele is Brazilian with German blood, like in any "new" country. Australia, USA, Argentina, Brazil and MANY others are countries that were built by imigrants, but it doesn't make them a "not" Brazilian. Gisele is Brazilian with German ascendence.

It doesn't matter she is european just because she has german and italian roots. And well "she was ONLY born in Brazil", well if she was born in brazil it means she is brazilian. And you won't find a german girl like her because she is half from german descent and other half is italian, but she is 100% brazilia. I have portuguese, italian and french roots but I was born in Brazil, this makes me totally brazilian.

Nein, ich spreche nicht Deutsch. I was born in Horizontina. The town was once mainly colonized by Germans. In the school which I attended, learning German was actually obligatory from third grade on. But being out of touch with the language for such a long time, I unfortunately forgot it.
My parents, on the other hand, still speak German today. When they meet their brothers and sisters, they often speak only German.

In the text I read "exotic beauty", so I suppose they're reffering to her looks. Anyway, the culture of white Brazilians, white Latin Americans as a whole, is not exotic at all comparing to European or North American culture. I don't see Americans reffering to European models as "exotic".
