this may seem like an unusual question, but i was wondering at what age should you start letting cats go outside on their own? i only had cats when i was little (i actually had twenty-something, we lived on a farm) after my mom and i moved out we only had dogs (she was always a dog lover, me a cat lover). when i was little we lived in the middle of the woods so we knew they would come back because they had no where else to go, but now i am worried they will run away. suppose that's a bit silly.
