kleengizr I see you're running the enthusiast settings on Windows XP. IS that with a custom config? Cause I have it with Windows XP and when I set a detail in Enthusiast after it's applied it goes back to custom and I no it's not in Enthusiast cause I couldn't see the god rays when I had the shader processing and almost everything else on enthusiast setings.

The new 200 series cards are great, I was thinking of upgrading to a 260/216 setup but the performance increase isn't to far off from an 8800gtx, I couldn't justify the cost for performance, even though they don't retail for much. The new 55nm 280s would be a differ story. For now, these bad boys run anything i throw at them at max detail. until the price of the newer cards drop, i'm sticking with these!

Good call mate. good call... im tempted by the 4870x2, but only because im running a p45 board... otherwise i'd grab another GTX for sli. its cheap. and even 1 8800GTX can out do 95% of games. the only thing mine struggles on with crysis is "very high/enthusiast" shaders.

No way, I'm tired of people getting fraps and running it at a merely 25-40fps. For a high end video card, minimum should be 60fps. Atleast this guy, has a decent camera...

You know this game runs very very smoothly even in the mid 20s in fps. Higher fps does not mean the game runs better, it just typically relates to less stuttering. The CryEngine2 is optimized to reduce stuttering so even at 25-40 fps, this game will look extremely smooth. I still vouch for fraps.

well, dx9 and dx10 very high in warhead, which is now called "enthusiast" is exactly the same, e.g. xp users can access very high and it looks no different.

The problem is the gx2 well known issue and the sad thing is there is gonna be no fix/patch its a problem with how the cards communicate with each other.

If you're still wondering - on Vista you can click on Start>Games then right click any of the Crysis games (Original, Warhead, or Wars) and choose DX9 or DX10 :)
