  • ur stupid!

  • First EcoDisc elevator I have seen with the Series 220 fixtures / CEElectronics chime combo.

  • MRL start in 1996. But it is MRL.

  • This is not the oldest MRL known in the U.S. I was on a KONE EcoDisc from 1999 in Providence Place Nordstrom in Providence, Rhode Island.

  • @KONEelevatorman111: We don't know that thing is MRL, and I honestly doubt that it is. There is really no doubt that this one is MRL; I know where it is located, and there is no penthouse there, and I could tell this was MRL just by the motor noise and signature bang that most MRLs make when they stop.

  • @SchindlerHaughton What your saying is making me think as well that the Nordstrom elevator isn't MRL

  • @SchindlerHaughton why do MRLs bang when stopping?

  • You're wrong on this... Montgomery KONE started EcoDisc in 1996 and I've gotten a KONE ecodisc from 1999-2000

  • EcoDisc was invented by MK in 1996, let's not forget. There's DEFINITELY another somewhere out there

  • Gen2 was invented in 2000, so I am sure there are Gen2s out there that are older than this EcoSpace.

  • @thyssenelevator95

What people forget, is that the first GeN2's were actually designed to be used in penthouses, but could be used in their own MRL manner.

(First ads were showing owners how it replaces the old machine in the machine room, non-MRL manner.)

  • @thyssenelevator95: I thought Gen2 came around 2005

  • @SchindlerHaughton Not according to the video on Otis's website...

On a side note, KONE debuted the EcoDisc motor in 1996, however, I don't know if it immediately came to the US.
