@TheMrSkaterboy14 idk but I dont think that that would be good for the chain, its better if u just walk next to it while you let it drive itself uphill, it can go up to 15 degrees (I think) fine.
looks like an E-glide Dewey weber A/T. those are getting rave reviews. to all of you who want one: $800.00 from E-GLIDE(google it) and 22mph may not sound fast, but on these things its a rush!!! speed wobble and everything!! thumbs up so everyone can read this!
@2point0L You can push it like a regular board (with some resistance), but I'm sure installing a quick-release link on the chain to take it off if you get stuck somewhere would be a lot smoother. Great idea, thanks!!
awesome vid! btw, how long does your board last minute-wise of constant use? i got an altered electric m6 800watt, and last night after around 25min in rough terrain it started to slow down a lot... i thought it was the battery so i turned it off, but 1/2hr later (without charging) it ran like normal again... i'm thinking the motor was overheating maybe because the battery was still good? haven't had so much fun since i was a kid btw
I've been having the same problem with overheating. It seems it is some connector that isn't working properly, because this never used to happen, and after a few times of use (from brand-new state) it can happen after only 10 minutes! So it is not the battery dying off. Other days it's just fine.
i had the same with mine, its not an altered board, but what i found is don't charge it for the full time, i think the extra current over heats the motor, charge for just under the charge time its set for. there soo cool
Hmm... Interesting stuff, but i don't think i am gonna get one in a hurry, theres so much more pleasure in bombing a steep hill and knowing that your gonna die soon... =D Nice video though... but the visual quality needs some tweaking... =S
I have tried it. I had the model 800W and 600W. The problem was that the range is about 3-4 km before the battery is too weak to ride it. So it was 30 miuntes of fun and 6 hours of loading the batteries. I was quite disappointed because the manuals ussualy say about 26 km (yea, right;-)
15deg. = lame 25mph = lame >1hour charge = REALLY LAME!! ur basicly riding sidewalk with leaves on it! it seems almost that designers are shying away from a fully mobile off road board vehicle, will we ever be able to go seamlessly from harsh mountain terrain to sidewalk and go as fast as cars??? i spit on this and any other MODERATELY powered board vehicle!!!
Best money I ever spent!! I ride a Bigfoot and a CruiserII from eightballboards and they are totally awesome! Big foot for the weekend trail cruisin and the Cruiser takes me to work and back during the week! Totally sweet dude! Try one and I guarantee you'll get hooked man.
Street version is a bit faster, and will travel in small gravel OK. The dirt version has the big stubby wheels, and will go up and down land with grass without any problem, whereas the street version will just spin out. Depends where you want to use it! I have both for sale BTW... :)
I'm in Montreal, so it's pretty easy to ship via Greyhound (about 100$). They sell for 900$+ but I have a "slightly used" one that I'm willing to part for 550$.
DO SOME ACTUAL EXERCISE AND LONGBOARD!!! much more fun than electric skateboards.

so if it runs out of power can you push it like a regular board or do you have to detach the chain

holy shit. who would waste hundreds of dollars on one of those? but they are kind of cool.
XxXisurmomXxX 2 years ago
good for transportation too... so it's not exactly a "waste", depending on who you are and what you get it for.
llieske 2 years ago
i guess. it's pretty efficient if you don;t want to use the car just to go to the store or something.
