Just did this bugger of and achi now, used your tactics with a little tweak: instead of killing the adds in the order they spawn, we killed the 1st, then the 3rd (to release the boss and get knocked about), then we killed the 2nd one to refresh the buff to 29 seconds and then we nuked it down.
@smirko Wow wow wow wow. Look at how wrong you are. Didn't exploit anything. This was one of two ways of doing it before they changed the mechanic of his shield, and as such how it works. As far as I know, the only way to previously be able to exploit this achivement, was to army of the dead, to delay when he pops his shield in phase 1. You shouldn't point fingers and claim exploits when you clearly have no idea about how the encounter works. I challenge you to point out an exploit in the vid:)

Then we waited for the debuff to get to 18 seconds and then we killed another add, and then waited until 2 stacks of the debuff got down to 18 seconds and killed the 3rd add. This gives you more time to kill the boss and minimizes damage taken.

I made a rar-file containing xDamageFont (the addon) as well as the font I made inside it, and threw a link to it in the describtion box. So go check out the describtion, download the rar-file, place the 'xDamageFont' folder inside your interface/addons folder, and wolla. Should work straight away. Enjoy.
@slamduncs007 Had a few attempts before that one where one or two of us would just get instagiped. Then we just wiped and went for it again. There is a slight bit of rng involved in the transition between phase 1 and 2. Keep at it.

We spent about 6hrs in there over 2 days trying a bunch of different orders with a few different DPSers from our guild. On the kill we went with 3 2 1 kill order (killing 3rd add first will cause the boss to drop his shield) then we had a shitload more time to DPS the boss if we could survive the flying phase due to having the entire 2 + 1 add debuff duration. @DeathFlavored It's true. Let me know if it works out for u.. we found it the easiest with least DPS requirement but we also all knew the fight very well by that point and made it easy on our healers :)

It's updated and working for Cataclysm, obviously, but have been tinkering with a few minor things since. Made the vehicle bar look better, and other minor things like that.

@delldimensionX We had a few people die here and there, pretty much instantly, as we pushed phase two, a few times. In the end it was all about making it through the phase transition, alive. Once there, it's a simple nuke fest. And in full 346, killing him before the debuff wears off, should be no problem.
If someone died during the transition, we simply wiped it. So everyone would get it.

You do know you can just get a DK to AoTD at the start of the fight, burn it to about 30-40%, then have your dps kill the ranged adds while the melee ones spawn, burn one melee add down as the next one spawns, when the third dies BL and burn boss... achievement ftw
@jz614 And that gives you a sense of achivement? But yeah, was aware of that. It's all over wowhead. That being said, no matter how often I watch the video here, I just cant seem to spot a death knight in the group. Damnit. If only I knew we had one!!
It was an awsome achivement most of them where quite fun idd and i'd say this is the hardest one but as fast as we got our tactics perfected it was totally doable no problem at all!
@thewarfrost Not much to do than try'n top ppl up as soon as the last/third add dies. Then people really need to blow defensive cooldowns. Bearform+barkskin, def stance+shield wall+enraged regen. Stuff like that. Sometimes you're just unfortunate.
We had a few attempts were someone just got instagiped as soon as he started tossing us around when phase 2 started.
Since you should be gaypilling anyway, for everyone to get the third stack, when you kill the last mob, paladins can cone heal.
LMAO you would find it easier if you didn't attack boss but tanked the adds

Siamat will cast Deflecting Winds after a few seconds of entering combat regardless of any abilities used against him at the start of the encounter.
