I agree with you about shorts. You do feel exposed! Especially because most pairs out there are so very short. If you live in a decent neighborhood; no one should be glaring at you! It's usually those that have nothing better to do types! I do like the black pair you bought. I think they are classy :)

Great haul! I love how eloquently you describe the clothing! I also love that you show how the clothes you bought looks on. I agree I've been wary of wearing shorts like that but I do wear them now with cute decorated(if that makes sense) tights and mary jane high heels or tall suede boots and button down blouses usually in silky or chiffon material.
