  • amazing

  • Well done, sir. Very convincing.

  • Impressive!!

  • what flaggot flagged this video? probbably an overprotective soccer mom

  • I have become a fan of you. Great acting,

I hope Hollywood discovers you and gives you the place you deserve.

  • gay dude

  • this video is an example why mac sucks....PC BITCHES

  • This sounds like the exact thing!

  • The only thing I'd take issue with is your pronunciation of "chianti," which Hopkins says with some significant stress on the "an" portion. There's some smartassery and derision in that pronunciation that I've always loved. I don't think he's talking down to Clarice, but there's a bit in that moment that lets on how much Lecter believes the whole thing to be a farce.

  • It's all quite obvious to me. It is the real Lecter/Hopkins, doing his cutting-off-and-borrowing-your-face-for-a-sec move and pretending to be an amateur actor re-enacting his own role. How else could he be this good?

  • pretty good....i was hoping for a buffalo bill dance to goodbye horses though

  • You look nothing like the actors but this is fucking amazing. I subscribed to you, you're amazing!!

  • Awesome, dude. haha

  • You should reenact Home Alone

  • this kid shall be an actor!

  • Fantastic! *applause*

  • This was fantastic! A few of the lines are wrong (recruiting HOT from the student body, thrill me with your ACUMEN, stink of the LAMP, etc) but overall this was a spectacular reenactment which I thoroughly enjoyed. Well done!

  • This reenactment by artie is more convincing and scarier than the original to be honest.

  • wow, it was like I was rewatching the movie itself XD

  • man, i might have to make my first friend request and push the subscribe button (which i never bother to do) just out of respect, even if by chance you don't post vids anymore..... nice job, yet again.

  • Talent!

You made me want to watch this movie again.

"it puts the lotion on its skin, or else it gets the hose again"

  • I just saw Silence of the Lambs for the first time this last month... since you're my favorite YouTuber, I went to your profile thinking "Please please please please please let there be a reenactment of that scene..." And here it is :D :D now I am happy hehe

  • Good effort. Only a csa qualified person can tell you if you have the x factor not me

  • you make too long pauses

  • I would love to see "Smokey & The Bandit." And also the "Would you f*** me?" scene. LOL.

  • Very nice. The perfume is "L'Aire du Temps".

Both Clarice and Lecter are pitch-perfect, though.

  • i would have loved to see right to the end of that scene

  • Fantastic. Something I noticed that I appreciated was the fact that you hardly blinked as Lecter. It's a very subtle detail that I'm glad you incorporated into your performance.

  • well done. except for one little detail: he says "thrill me with ur acumen" not argument! but ... well done mate!

  • Man. You've got some serious talent. You nailed it!

Is there any way I can get you to do a scene from "O Brother Where Art Thou"? Anybody with me on this one? With your voice acting abilities I think you could get it spot on with no trouble!

  • I'm impressed. You nailed Foster. And that note about the camera work was almost primarily used for Hannibal in that scene, as to amplify Starling's uneasiness in that situation. It's a VERY effective scene, and my favorite from the movie. It tells SO MUCH about each character.

  • really great reenactments, the only thing i'd say about this is purely because of the fact that you have a male voice, the impersonation of jodie foster's character sounds like george w bush.

  • You're a world class actor.

  • fucking talented

  • Awesome!!!!! I love this movie! Brandon you rule!

  • It is mad scary how good you are!

  • hey cool internet guy

    let's see your version

  • I just said what I saw. When people started to think that a critic is something bad?

It is really good what he did, but it is not original. It is a copy of a performance.

  • You have to admit that it's a very impressive copy, though.

  • Let me see if you can get it ALL ACTORS DO IS READ LINES AND LISTEN TOO WHAT THE DIRECTOR SAYS if you honestly think you can do better lets see it

  • Absolutely BRILLIANT.

  • Thrill me with your ACUMEN...not argument.

Clarice's perfume is "L'air du Temps" by Nina Ricci.

Otherwise flawless. You're a great and clever talent mimicking great scenes from even greater movies. Thanks for a memorably entertaining 6 minutes. BRAVO!!!

  • All your reenactments are great but I think this is my favorite. Great movie, great scene, great recreation, you're one cool dude.

  • AWESOME JOB!

This is one of my favorite movies and you did an amazing job on this scene. Someone should show this to Anthony Hopkins, I think he'd appreciate it. You can even do the "hiss". haha

  • oh my god your good

  • Great attention to cinematic detail and character movements, but lecter's voice needs a lot of work.

  • wow ive never watched this movie all the way through, but now i think i will have to.

  • Are you serious?

It's like one of the best movies of all time :P

  • I am so much in love with you right now. YOU are AWESOME!!!!

  • Very talented

  • I think it's funny that your Jodie Foster is better than your Anthony Hopkins

  • Good gawd man, you are to funny!

  • OMG that ID card is Brandon's Weis Market's card. I said he used to ring up my groceries before! haha Love it!

  • perfect

even the faces she makes are similar

  • He got her dialogue perfect, her accent that is

  • LOL It puts the lotion on the skin or else it gets the hoes again

  • i wouldnt put lotion on my skin just so i could get some hoes

  • Youre a good actor, and i know lots of actors

  • its fava beans not farva

  • Well, at least you didn't have to fake Clarice's boobs on this one. LOL

  • Absolutely riveting. It reminds me of the Mamet quote. He remarked that many people see great performances in the most unlikely of places, high school productions of Romeo and Juliet, amateur theatre and so on. However, who wouldn't be inspired to excellence, given the quality of the source material?

  • Wonderful!

  • It puts the lotion in the basket

  • Put the fucking lotion in the basket! Love to see him do that one.

  • Put the Fucking Lotion in the BASKET!!!!

yeah, that one is the BEST.

  • LOL

    It does as its told!

  • This is one of my favourite films, excellent Lecter dude!!!

  • My god, you should be in Hollywood!

  • thrall me with your acumen.

  • indeed - few wrong words in there...but still very good!

  • I was actually kind of scared of you.

    Kudos my man!

  • I was totally locked to the screen! Awesome job!

  • very good, good job

  • That was impressive. You make a good Hannibal.

  • As much as I like a lot of your videos this one you have done a lot of errors with words, more than 3 times did I notice you said the wrong words.

  • I think you should re-do this and maybe make anthony hopkins a little more british

  • that would ruin it. it would just make it a shitty scene remake rather than a reenactment

  • this is spectacular. You... did a rather good Hopkins impression. o.o

  • u shoulda put yourself inside a box for this one lol

  • A+, very well done

  • Also, I think it's "poor white trash" as opposed to "pure white trash" if that is indeed what you are saying.

  • I don't know if it's been said, and I'm one of the biggest fans of your videos (in fact I never caught this until now), but Lecter says to Clarice, "Thrill me with your acumen" as opposed to what sounds like "argument."

    Love you brohan.

  • good job

your clarice accent would be perfect for a Bush impersonation

  • Not suitable for minors just because there's the word 'cunt'? Seriously now?

  • Amazing.

  • This is amazing.

  • it's "acumen" not "argument"

  • same here times 5. i dont ever subscribe on youtube but i have now. you're awesome!

  • BRAVO

  • same here times 4

  • AND same here as well.

  • the same here too

  • I've never heard of you until tonight on YouTube live, your Dark Knight was spot on so I checked out your other videos. You're great, got another subscriber :)

  • same here

  • freaking brilliant! saw you on live tonight. wow, got another subscriber!

  • Dude, you are brilliant.

  • xD This is amazing, all of your work's amazing, you should edit it to make it better quality, its too good not to be in good quality.

  • Classic Lector, just classic. Possibly my new favorite, well done!

  • OK, now that it's working for me again...

Brandon, I have to wonder at which point in this 37-part reenactment exercise you realized it could serve as quasi-audition material. I'm just thinking you couldn't have been too shocked when you got Bart because of all this. Were you? Because these videos reveal a genuine and innate acting talent, my friend. You're a natural!

  • One more try...

Brilliant, as always! This is the quintessential SOTL scene, so it's good that you included the ffsssfsfsfs. I thought you did it great, so don't think you were lacking.

By the way, if you'll pardon a non-sequitur, they're fava beans, not farva beans.

  • Great. So nonsense posts work fine, eh? Figures!

  • Testing, just testing. Having trouble posting comments here!

  • YOUR LECTOR VOICE IS AMAZING!!

  • props another great movie

  • That was great, I love that movie, you are amazing.

  • I saw this movei yesterday xD

  • that was THE SHIT!!!!!

  • you are awesome!

  • You got Lector's voice spot on! Amazing job. This is one of my favorite movies. I am really impressed!

  • redo this with better audio.

  • oml lol creepy much almost as much as the origional

  • Brandon, this is the first time I've seen you do a woman, and I must say your method acting is amazing. True you do not look like Jodi Foster, but you captured her accent, her mannerisms. . .everything. And your Hannibal Lector, well. . . you didn't just play him, you channeled him. Both amazing and chilling.

  • that was some really great acting

  • your jodi foster was actually pretty damn good.you really put some work into these,i've been watchin your vid.s for the past hour and a half they are very much appreciated,i really hope you do the Boondock Saints request on your new vid that i gave...Thanks...

  • ..... There are no words for that.

    that was nigh perfection.

  • whoa, you creeped me out almost as much as the real Hannibal

  • o geazzzzzz

    u suk the big one

  • agree on that.

  • this was truly brilliant. reminds me that this something that normally (in order to do both roles same person) only guys can do because anthony hopkins is obviously already a guy and jodie foster just has a voice that belies her appearance lol.

  • woow, i love how you remembered not to blink in hannibal lecter's scenes =]

  • Spot-on Lecter. Except he says "enthrall me with your acumen" not "thrill me with your argument".

  • Good job! I'd like to see a try at the USS Indianapolis monologue from Jaws!

  • Great acting!

  • Thats so cool! your very telented and funny.

  • awesome outfits and voices!!!!

  • First of all: AMAZING. Brandon, this might be the best I've ever seen you. You have a natual God given talent and I envy you :)

Second: Who's the jackass who flagged this video? I had to create a second account just to watch it...

  • its great, as always, except for the quality of the vid. but still, wonderful job!

  • Great job, love watching your Re Enactments!! and you got the non blinking part on Lector done really well done!! In future if you haven't done it already; try doing the other awesome scene from this great film, with him in the cage and when she brings him the drawings to have that were taken away etc...

  • That was intense... just WOW.

One question, was it weird carrying around the purse? :P

The "F-B-I" bit was... for lack of a better word, impacting. :D

  • ha ha brilliant Hannibal Lector

  • ha ha this is well good. I love this film and this is pretty accurate!

  • wow.

  • Well done... again!!!! Keep them coming! Have you thought about doing a scene from The Godfather?

  • True, why hasnt anyone thought of this before...

  • Ohhh good call, I would love to see him do ANYTHING by Pachino!!

  • Be careful. I had to play Hanibal in my acting groups play and I ended up in a shrinks office. Playing Hanibal will drive insanity.

  • dude, u r jux rly gud @ imit8ng voice. rl tlk. i think every1 has sed tht in their cmnts but rly...u shud b a celebrity imperson8r in vegas or sumthn. XP

  • You should take an English class.

  • Agreed..

  • awesome. i adore this film. very tricky and thrilling..

nice performance, i'm just wondering, i think it would be very exciting if u also re-enact buffalo bill's part as he dances in front of his camera and shows off his ass. =). LOL

well, keep up the good work dude, i start to become ur fan. =)

  • OHHHH!!! SO CLOSE!!! It's "enthrall me with your acumen" not, "thrill me with your argument". But, good job overall. I'd give it a 7. It had a good rhythm and I could dance to it. ;-)

  • Oh yeah, and it's "stink of the lamp" (not lamb) meaning a West Virginia coal miner's lamp. TAKE TWO! ACTION!

  • Watched it all. Nice of you to not use the same camera angle at the sipping scene. Now, if you would just fill out this questionaire......

    1. Do you leave the cookie and eat the fortune?

    2. It isn't really raining cats and dogs, is it?

    3. You're in the desert, and you find a tortoise.....

    4. Lennie Tristano

  • wuts that mean, no offense meant, just curious, sounds interesting

  • Excellent Agent Starling touch to your voice, Hannibal too.

    Well done sir, well done.

  • My god. That was awsome. Your rendition of Hector....my god. That was creepy.

  • That was surprisingly good, great job.

  • Dude you absolutely amaze me every time with your acting ability! Bravo!

  • wow dude you are a genious

    this si really good

one of my favourite movies of all time nd i think you totally captured hopkins voice

  • dead ON

  • When will ye get thee to Hollyweird?

  • Wow, talk about dedication! You knew every single line, impressible, although seing this movie more than twice you learn the lines pretty fast.

This was brilliant by the way, i actually got goosebumps when i watched this, just like when i watched "Silence for the first time.

  • Pure West Virginia.

  • Hi Bud, you're really a VERY GOOD actor.

  • I'm speechless. You're just amazing.

  • "i can smell your cunt."

  • I just finished watching Silence of the Lambs like ten minutes ago. Spot on! Brilliant!

  • Damn dude that was awesome

  • another gem, man. must be hard to do this kind of scene with nobody to react off of.

  • You do an amazing Lecter. This is definitely your best re-enactment.

  • whoa! kinda creeped me out.

  • Spot on Lecter and you did Foster's part pretty well too.

  • That was excellent.

  • You Lecter impression is very good!

  • this was really good. the lighting shows you put at least a bit of energy into it, acting was good, editing and acting both those parts is no easy feat. 5 stars

  • I cant believe some douche flagged this movie as unsuitable for minors. FFS - some people are SO easily offended it's just ridiculous.

  • that Lecter impression was so good it actually creeped me out!

  • Having watched all of your re-enactments, your portrayal of Lector is definitely your most spot-on role. I think you're well aware that this video could do with more editing love, but the acting more than made up for it. Bravo!

  • VERY GOOD. KEEP IT UP!

  • it's thrall me with your acumen, not thrill me with your argument. otherwise, great job! I almost did see you as two different people by the end.

  • Genius performance Artie. You usually don't put much effort into the supporting female cast but this time you actually had Jodie Foster's maneurisms down to an impressive detail! Amazing!

I really like the movement of licking your thumb while flipping through the questionnaire. That was so zen.

  • i just CAN'T believe u pulled all those jodie foster facial expressions...! i 'm in AWE :-O

  • you are sooo amazing. man, i would love to meet you... i'd definitely learn something!

  • Great job!

  • LMFAO a sissy white cuba gooding jr LMFAO

  • good attempt but nothing can ever beat the original

    good try tho!!!!!

  • I think it's L'air du Temps. "L'air du Temps ... but not today."

I'm not sure how I feel about these impressions. They're very loyal, that much is true.
