  • This asshole deleted a serious question about one of his techniques without answering it. Kenprimo can sucka dick.

  • @Momentimum yeah he would def have a lot more veiws if he was a little more "user friendly lol" but you cant deny his knowlege or ability to instuct and perform!!!!

  • @Momentimum lolz, okay, what was your question?

  • wing chun.. jussayin

  • @steadyshinineveryday wing chun combined with bjj.. enough said.

  • Probably the best BJJ video i've seen. It's really useful because i'm just whitebelt and find myself just only doing sweeps and guard pass techniques and now i'll always have something to use when in guard

  • Great tips! Thank you!

  • Weak open guard...jussayin

  • @nuyork143

A guard is only as weak as the person doing it

  • What happens if your Opponent doesnt have Slevees :S? But really Good, I want to Train Jiu Jitsu but i dont know which one is Better BJJ or GJJ

  • dlvt79 He is joking man.

BJJ might be good fun. Go to the ground in the street and his weak mates will kick your head in .A weak punk with an iron bar knife or gun will beat the GREATEST Matial Artist by attacking from behind.

  • in the 2nd technique, isn't there a risk you get caught in a triangle, if you come up to fast? because it seems like if the opponent just traps your head and arm during the progress he got you in a solid triangle.

    anyway good movies man thnx!

  • Actually Kenprimo it would be nice to see no gi open guard sweeps that apply to mma of selfdefense. Thanks

  • @dlvt79 well if your kid does martial arts he probably doesn't need your advise on self defense anyway so you are all set

  • @andyycm Ok i surrender!!It is the fan club attacking!!I am really sorry that i insult the master.I will take his advise to train in Bjj and in the street carry a gun. Please forgive me..

  • @dlvt79 just tell your kid to not be a tool like his old man, and he probably wont have to worry about getting his ass kicked everytime he goes outside

  • @andyycm It is not me who worry..I dont carry a glock outside..

  • @kenprimo u r a teacher man??if u lreally loved ma u wouldnt answer with this arrogance.Good luck too.

  • @dlvt79 You were the one who wrote the hostile, sarcastic, completely unnecessary, statement that was directed at kenP. His response was perfectly fine.

  • Of course those are techniques that can only be performed by black belts ;]

  • Hi Ken, Nice sweep there. I was wondering. when you put your feet on the inside when he defends the first sweep when his legs are seperated by your feet are the pulling his ankles or pushing your legs at the same time? or does the sweep work as soon as you seperate his legs? thanks

  • i love bjs too.

  • @dagreatcapri82

    WTF are you talking about?

  • pretty simpole: train hard fight easy

    nice work ben st.

  • You call this a Martial art? Please it looks like you are trying to have sex with him. Martial arts arent about winning competitions and presise ways to grap your opponents sleeves. A real fight should last about Half a second and end up with your opponent seriously injured or dead, not rolling around on the ground like you are playing with your dog. Take Kung Fu San Soo. Someone throws a punch, you block it, break their arm, strike their throat, then flip them over your shoulder.

  • @newdude32 you are dumb. YOU ARE SO DUMB.... foreallll

  • @tonymontana19892012 Am i? I'm just saying that i would prefer to actually hurt the person in a fight rather than roll around with them on the ground. Lame martial art. Look at some san soo videos than call this a martial art. You probably wont.

  • @tonymontana19892012 In Kung Fu, the ground is a place of defeat. If you end up on the ground you are dead. no questions asked, you are royally fucked.

  • @newdude32 youre right! if you do kung fu, and you fight a jiu jitsu practitioner, the ground will be a place of defeat for you!!! its a shame 90 percent of streetfights end up on the ground. So you can do your pretty little kicks, flips, and train with weapons that you would never have in a real combat situation, but when the time comes, and you fight, youre fucked. you know, do it for x amount of years and yayyyy you have a blackbelt, but lets all hope a time comes where you have to dfnd urslf

  • @tonymontana19892012 You are right. My fights have all ended up on the ground. It ended up with my opponents seriously injured. they have never touched me. i end them before they make their first move.

  • @newdude32 im sure youre fighting highly trained athletes...

  • @tonymontana19892012 nope. im fighting assholes who want to start shit with me and who dont come back for more after they did. You said Kung fu isnt useful in the real world, you are really wrong. if you watched that video i posted on your account page than you will know that it extremely effective. rolling on your back when someone looks at you funny is just plain stupid.

  • @newdude32 your last comment revealed how little you know about jiu jitsu. Like i said before, YOU ARE DUMB. YOU ARE SO DUMB... FORREALLL

  • @tonymontana19892012 Ok first of all, loose the FORREALLLLL thing. you sound like a spoiled teenage girl whos pissed at her dad. And i am talking about Brazilian jiu jitsu. jiu jitsu is a very effective martial art and can actually be used in real life. the same cant be said for Bjj.

  • @newdude32 well good thing i do GRACIE jiu jitsu and not watered down geared for competition bullshit. but there is a problem with you logic and its that j i u jitsu comes from brasil hence the i between the j and the u, if your saying that there is a difference between brazilian jiu jitsu and jiu jitsu youre sorely mistaken, and if youre saying that japanese ju jitsu is more effective than brazilian jiu jitsu, youre worse off than i thought. also, its lose not loose. /watch?v=bobp5OHVsWY

  • @newdude32

How about this, I have a better self defense then ANY martial art, whether its BJJ, Kung Fu or anything else....

And its the same as what Ken does (the guy in the video you are talking shit on)

My Handgun, which is tucked away in an inside the waist band holster on my hip.

It takes about 2 seconds to draw and fire from the hip using the CQC method, so I win, you lose.

Now shut up about your stupid martial art that will never be used, and we'll stay to ours that we enjoy as a hobby.

  • @Breakneckhydra1 You are using kung fu if you use your handgun. kung fu is any technique that will make you most effective. if you have a weapon, use it. if you dont use the weapon while you can, you are not being an effective kung fu fighter. And stupid marital art? kung fu is the basis of all other martial arts, in fact it is all other martial arts. back to what i said about using whatever technique to win. i also carry a .45 acp glock 17 in a shoulder harness.

  • cool stuff

  • I don't like the look of BJJ I just started Jiu jitsu and i recommend that for anyone whos looking for some great defence in a street fight, honestly the armbars holds chokes and wrist locks are great plus you learn how to disarm loads of weapons and how to fight off multiple attackers if need be and you also learn how to take a fall so you take alot less shock in your spine and kidneys. Not saying BJJ isnt good just saying you dont wanna be in the position where you put your self on the floor

  • nt every one wears a gi in a street fight sorry

  • Good stuff Ken. I can't tell you how many times somebody has stood over me while I was on the ground attempting to either stomp me or punch down on me when all of a sudden they were on the ground, and I was on top of them. Keep posting Jiu Jitsu isn't for everybody.

  • isnt the first one a very basic sweep? I that was the first open guare technique I learned besides the scissor sweep.

  • @kenprimo

Using a glock is a wise choice.

Theres too many ninjas going around attacking people by biting their balls, scratching their ass, and grabbing their dicks!

Those damn ninjas are fucking ruthless LOL

Personally, I use a mini nuke for self defense.

But seriously, thanks for these videos bro.

Theyre great for those of us who want to actually learn how to fight.

  • hahahah lol so by the way what is glock...??? so nice moves keep it up man

  • @jujitsoka75

    A glock is a gun.

And these moves CAN be used for self defense LOL

What do you think they are doing?

  • @SkemeKOS ok man i got it now, take it easy....!!!!! i figure out these guys ain`t playing but making awesome tecniches and ready to be applied

  • @jujitsoka75

    ok, cool.

just trying to be of help, my friend.

    :)

  • hi ken this is the first time watching at these videos so i have to say it, these moves are nice and can these moves make at selfdefense...??? or street situation mmmm i guess not. anyway good moves.

  • Ken, the sweep that starts at 4:50 when you switch your feet and sit-up: I learned to do it, but with not switching, that is, the "del a riva" hook drops and hoks ankle instead, so you use your left leg to hook the ankle and right leg drops back to drive off of. Have you seen it done this way? thanks.

  • thumbs up if you thought from 5:12-5:48 look extreamly gay.

  • @BoSStatus987

    umm...no?

maybe you have issues or something?

    no offense.

  • I really liked the 4th one, I've never seen/used it before. Functionally it seems very proficient. Thanks for posting this video.

  • you look like ben stiller

  • i like how you dont show fancy stuff, you just show hardcore basics and very well at that.Osssss

  • hey whats "old school open guard"?

  • Nice, I've never seen any of these except for the first one.

  • Nice, I've never any of these except for the first one.

  • Around 1:20,i'd go for an armbar if that situation occurs.he'll have to get his right leg on the inside though.

  • Congrats on the black belt.

  • You got some good technique Ken. Where do you train or teach?

  • @1tmoch thx, wilm, de

  • @kenprimo wow a delawarian. How rare. I'm in lower DE and ahve been searching tirelessly for good instructors in lower Delaware. But, everything is in Smyrna and up.

  • Superb! Thank you so much, Ken.

  • I really like this Dude, great instruction. Thanks for posting.

  • when did ben stiller start bjj ?

  • solid and do-able. thanks Professor

  • Ken, do you use the sleeves for most your control from open guard or do you go for sleeve and behind the collar? Do you find that one offers better control than the other?

  • haahahah..ben stiller...that's too funny

  • I didn't know Ben Stiller knew bjj ;-)

Good stuff. I'll work on some of these. My open guard needs lots of work.

    thx

  • That was cool! I don't do martial arts or anything...wish i did after watching that! Would not like to accidently bump off that guys girlfriend or something! lol

    Seriously though, very impressive!

  • This is pretty good man i subcripbed ;].

  • Best? I was hoping to see something that wasn't a transition from spider and de la riva guards. Good stuff. Not sure you wanna focus on keeping a hold of both sleeves unless you're going for a flip or an arm lock.

  • Thanks Ken, well explained

  • ken im lovin your open guard techniques thank you

  • thanks man

  • More videos like this please.

  • no prob

  • Thanks Ken, good collection of a bunch of pretty low-risk, effective sweeps.

  • Thanks that just about covers everything! :)

  • nice vid!..many techniques i havent seen before... il be trying all of this sweeps today..

    thanks a lot!

  • SLow down Ken!!!!!
