You're correct. He's written every possible permutation of C,D,E progressions into his tunes. Makes it easier to figure the songs out, though.

It does, you rarely need an actual Iron Maiden tab, off the top of my head, this, Aces High, Hallowed Be Thy Name, The Duellists, all use cde on A.

I just finished watching all your Maiden vids. Couldn't stop watching! I was like a deer caught in the headlights. Honestly, I think you play alot cleaner than Steve Harris. They do not have enough power for any strings except Dean Markley Blue Steels. I could not obtain the strings new, so I cannibalized my other bass for them. I really have to get some more Dean Markleys....they are on ebay.

You may be right about that. I originally bought my bass so I could play Rush and Metallica with perfect tone. The Maiden was a nice side-benefit.

The problem with P-basses for me....neck too fat. I'm so used to the Rick that I really am only comfortable with thin-necked basses. (as an aside, and as everyone knows, more than four strings confuse me, too..lol, so I'm pretty much stuck with my two basses)
