I showed my 25 year old cousin this. He never really was the kind of person to like dogs or cats.... a little over halfway through this video, he broke down and started crying. That is the first time I have ever seen him cry. This is truely a touching video.
My dog Rocco ran away today at 4 in the morning. im terrified somebody might find him and do somethig so sick and bad to him it breaks my heart to even think about it. hang on little guy...hang on. i hope if someone does find him and keep him that they take good care of him. i hope he's happy with them and safe. he'll always have a piece of my heart.

We adopted a pit bull mix as puppy when she was a few months old. She had already been beaten and was left in a car with her siblings and mom. Two of the puppies where dead. She is the sweetest thing EVER!!!! (she looks just like the pup at 00:14) She is 5 years old now and is still going strong. We adopted a 5 year old cat that was to be put down, and had him for 13 years. He has sadly passed. Please adopt, you give someone a second chance and a better life. R.I.P. Petey

Every asshole who does this need to be made to watch this done to his/her kids, even forced to participate. While this is occurring they should be housed as they have housed the animals they tortured, no water. That was an amazing video. I got my kitty from a kill-shelter two days before they where going to "dispose of him". I now know why I got him, to give him a second chance. He was sick and very scrawny, but had the biggest heart. I gave him the chance to live 17 years... insted of five. These animals do feel, and they wonder what they did wrong... My dog is my family and I would do anything for her. I should have gone to the shelter, but I went to a rather shady breeder and she was the last of her litter.
We brought her home and I thought she was sick or something, she just sat on the sofa, wouldn't play with her toys....she had never been shown love or attention before....it was obvious!!! Today, she is the most happy playful dog ever! She is loved and she knows it!
my dog riley was a puppy who was saved from a puppy mill in origon who was bought in a pet store his first owners couldn't take care of him and gave him to use in Massachusetts he was kept in a crate for 20-24 hours and when we got him he didnt know how to play go outside or even wag his tail he lived with us for 8 years then this summer he had a plumary tumor he was a labrador retrever and was my best friend almost all my pets are saved from going to the pound or from the pound please save them

I just started volunteering at a cat shelter... Every time I look in a cat's eyes I see sadness, I see hurt. There's a kitten with one eye, a big fat male who been returned to the hermitage 4 and this shelter saved his life!
I too, am a strong advocate of animal adoptions. I think rescuing and saving an animal from the shelter is one of the most rewarding experiences of a lifetime. What a touching video. I truly hope this video inspires more people to adopt their animals!
I don't get why some people can be so terrible! Animals spend all their time loving us and yet all some people do is treat them badly! Yeah someone dropped off an australian Shepherd at my house and we tried seeing if any of our neihbors lost a dog or something ,but they all said no and he is now called Ranger and one of the nicest dogs in the world along with my baby Pugsly^^

when i get a dog after we get settled in this new house we jus moved into about a month ago and get a fence up, i'm getting a dog from a rescue shelter. They can turn out to be the sweetest and most well behaved dogs after being abused and left by their owners......
There are so many many dogs in the shelters just waiting for a new home. Many of them have a dark past so when u show them your love and let them know that they belong to your family forever, they will love and appreciate you its entire life. i want to help at my cities animal rescue but all i can do is exersise with the dogs groom the animals and feed /watter them clean out the cage. i dont have the money to donate is this still helpfull
What hurts the most is seeing how people are blind to the truth, not just for these cute poor animals but for homeless, mentally challenged and or physically challenged.
ive also saved a few animals from sheltor. instead of goingt o the pet shops and shit like thaty go to the animal sheltors and look there and adopt one of them :D
you feel so good afterwards, not only knowing that you saved a life but you also gave another animal a space in the sheltors too.
i try to donate all i can to the local cat and dog home (ill donate some of my time soon but at the mo im to busy working) if im shopping and see a special on food,cat litter and things i buy it and drop it off and believe me it all helps. they have to survive off donations so instead of just writing about this vid give all u can.

This had me in tears and really caught me off guard. I had to give up our family dog and my son was very sad, but he went to a friend. The sad thing about most of the shelters here is there NO PIT BULL POLICY.
Even if the dog is perfectly adoptable,they will destroy it in 4 days,if the owner is not found.
I was lucky enough to rescue one of these dogs,from a shelter that gave him the 2nd chance he deserved.

That was an amazing video. I got my kitty from a kill-shelter two days before they where going to "dispose of him". I now know why I got him, to give him a second chance. He was sick and very scrawny, but had the biggest heart. I gave him the chance to live 17 years... insted of five. These animals do feel, and they wonder what they did wrong... Amazing video, truley touching.

cuse my nabore abused and shot my own dog my mom had to hold me back cause i was so mad and sad at the same time then the day before that i was at school and he was talking to his friend then i walked by and he pointed at me so i came to see what they were talking about and he hid some pics behind him then i punched him so i looked at them and it was my own dog hung by a chain and shot in his back yard

My dog is my family and I would do anything for her. I should have gone to the shelter, but I went to a rather shady breeder and she was the last of her litter.
We brought her home and I thought she was sick or something, she just sat on the sofa, wouldn't play with her toys....she had never been shown love or attention before....it was obvious!!! Today, she is the most happy playful dog ever! She is loved and she knows it!

my dog riley was a puppy who was saved from a puppy mill in origon who was bought in a pet store his first owners couldn't take care of him and gave him to use in Massachusetts he was kept in a crate for 20-24 hours and when we got him he didnt know how to play go outside or even wag his tail he lived with us for 8 years then this summer he had a plumary tumor he was a labrador retrever and was my best friend almost all my pets are saved from going to the pound or from the pound please save them

This August Willow died from a heart defect...As she grew her heart grew with her the day we took her to the vet her heart was whole chest. She was only a year old Dilute Torti. Willow we loved you more than you can imagine!!!

I don't get why some people can be so terrible! Animals spend all their time loving us and yet all some people do is treat them badly! How hard is it to just buy some food, feed them, play with them, and snuggle with them every night? I do not understand AT ALL how any being could be so cruel as to brutally abuse an animal. OMG my account says im 14 but im two years younger then that and where i live there is lots of homeless animals bc no one in my city dosent give a damm about the enviroment but who cares about them anyway man i always post long comments

ya i luv animals we need to make a differnce
god wants us to get along with each other not be racest or abuse animals other ppl my own naighbors killed my dog and i want to help out the best i can and the best of luck to u guys to try to help other ppl stop animal abuse and abuse tawards other ppl plz b4 its to late

i hugged my cat to death as i watched this! were getting two new kittens from to pound tomorrow! i cant wait and im so happy. im feel sorry for all these animals.. if only people would spay and neuter and adopt. if they want a son then adopt them one!=)

Thank you so much ofr making this video. This video gave me chills and made me cry. I love animals so much, and I can't stand knowing how many are out there and in pain. I have taken in 2 homeless animals, but I wish that I could help them all. Please make more videos. :]
