Obama said he will not bother states that allow medical marijuana but he is not for legalizing. Mike Gravel is also a Democrate, but is for legalizing pot, Ron Paul is a Republican but hated by the Republican party and called a liberal for his views on handling things. Ron Paul is also against the drug war, the 2 best people in this situation would be Mike Gravel and Ron Paul.

If he gets elected we can continue to have a war on marijuana out of our tax dollars and possibly a war on consumer fireworks if he tried to pass a federal law to ban all of them and then people could smuggle them in from other countries and our tax dollars can get used throwing people in jail for marijuana and consumer fireworks like rockets, firecrackers, fountains, sparklers lol.

Prescription drugs and over the counter drugs have given people heart attacks, over 100,000 people die a year on prescription drugs marketed by drug companies. They get away with advertising drugs on tv while the government puts up anti marijuana commercials with the message, THINK OF THE CHILDREN! What kind of message is legalizing marijuana to the children? We sell alcohol and tobacco under guidelines, if your not of age you cannot buy it.

Marijuana has worked for people when prescription drugs failed to work for many people, but prescription drugs do work, but it's not proven to work for everyone. In the 1850's marijuana was the major legalized medicine in the United States.
