Politicians are using global warming for their own political gain, but it doesnt mean it isn't real.

Actually it doesn't matter what you, me or they believe. Global warming is as real as it gets and it might just be the thing that will change mankind forever.

@goma3, if global warming were real, then why did we have a decade of cooling when CO2 output was not going down? The global warming advocates know that they couldn't keep selling the hoax, so they switched to "climate change." I think they just don't want the peasants using up all *their* natural resources.

u're actually correct, it shouldn't be called "g. warming" but rather "climate change" because although average Temp will go up, many areas will have freezing temps. For example California will be super dry, while the East Coast is gonna be pounded by ridiculously long winters. The entire EU will be at a much lower temp than know while Russia will heat up a lot. One thing is certain: many places, hot or cold, will be inhabitable, then what do you do with the dislocated people?

Is anthropogenic global warming real or not . . . . that's the question. No doubt we have cycles of warming and cooling, but man's activity seems to have little influence on climate.

If you think this is a political trick played by elites, then think again. There are scores of scientists placing their careers on the line for the claim that climate change is real and (this may come as a shock) many scientists are not driven by money like the political elites, a lot of them take pride in being one of the very few positive forces in changing the World. There is no way that this would be a "global scientific conspiracy" to prevent "peasants" to use up resources.
