I would get better heads 200cc I suggest brodix or trick flows would be great you will be clearing over 400hp with just heads then I would take the 3.23 rear end out of your 84 and drop in soething like 3.73 or even a 4.10 if you dont really care about gas mileage I have seen your intake manifold it looks like a low rise itake i would go get a edelbrock high rise air gap intake manifold with 600cfm or higher carb to top it off
you can get hooker headers and some pipes they make a super chip for the 400 block which is actually not as strong as the 350 jet makes them I have a 383 stroker in my 84 trans am with hookers and edelbrok everything im push about 460 tq and 410 hp
awsome project. what kind of seats you planing on. I have seats out of a 2001 trans am that i love. they would just bolt right in with no moding. i would get some of ebay.

they didnt make gta till 87 man it also only had a 305 not a true 350 no tpi I prefer carb but that thing is gutted
