  • This is really funny...I love it!!! :P

  • One of the funniest car commercials I've ever seen.

  • Some say, it's still going...

  • hablan bien para ser gringos

  • Entra y cómprame unas papistas LOL

  • That's Das Auto!

  • If only learning a new language was this easy....

  • Go get some chips nigga

  • Wow.

  • Paulo adino!

  • Im still trying to find the 2012 Passat Tdi commercial which is based in a dark city and the backround music has a piano chime to it, and at the end the singer sings "hey wo hey wo heay"

  • @Galley415 2012 Beetle Commercial: It's back

There is a link to it up the top

  • jajjajajajajajajajajaja

  • Thanks to oldCAguy, I found this song. It is on a CD, just released Dec 2011, by a Brazilian-American group known as Little Joy. Neat guitar!

  • LOLOLOLOLOL!!!.....EXCELLENT!!!!.....LAUGHED MY HEAD OFF!!!!

  • I LOVE THAT COMMERCIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what are they singing in the Passat ad when the guy is cleaning the junk out of his garage to fit in the car? It sounds like a Mexican song about "one too many....................fill in blanks and ends in "worth the weight in gold" I think.

  • @9genie

Next Time Around, by Little Joy

  • So funny

  • Best car commercial ever. To exoticcar5482 noone in Mexico speaks mexican they speak spanish! as does all of Latib America except Brazil. The differance are in idioms that vary from country to country.

  • @kingjamesallday....I TOTALLY AGREE!!! I LOVE THIS COMMERCIAL!!!!

  • Haha they should've saved this commercial for the Superbowl!

  • Lol this commercial never gets old

  • "Road trip, buddy! Lets put some music on!" (flips radio on) "Welcome to learning Spanish in the car!" Hilarious! XXD

  • Okay, the gas station should have been made to look like a PEMEX station (well, without the official logos)...

  • Well, that is NOT spanish, it's mexican. Better buy a Seat!

  • @fernandopcg what's the difference?

  • @exoticcar5482 I could'n explain heheheh. Well, Mexican is a dialect of Spanish, but it's a very different dialect, not having in common the accent, the words (auto->coche, papitas-> patatas...), you know... . It's really Spanish, but here in Spain we differentiate from Spanish (Spain) and Latin Spanish (More or less all South America, maybe except Argentina or Chile whose Spanish is not very different from ours).

  • @fernandopcg I didn't know Mexicans had their own language other than Spanish.

  • @jet052673 As I said to @exoticcar5482, it's so different from Spanish from Spain that we call it like "Latin Spanish", because it's very different, both in accent/pronunciation and the expressions and words used...

  • @fernandopcg I think even using the term "spanish" is incorrect, as Spain has 4 national languages (Castellano, Catalan, Gallego, and Euskadi). Especially since in places like Argentina( and Uruguay i think) Gallego is synonymous with "Spanish" due to a large number of immigrants from Galicia. But you are totally right that the Castellano in Latin America is way different from the Castellano in Spain :) i think it's important to emphasize that Spain is not homogenous culturally or linguistically

  • @BiracialBabe Yeah, well, you're right we should not use "spanish" unless we are referring to the whole language and not the ¿variant, version? spoken in Spain, but are used to it(I mix them up all the time, although I try to use "Castellano").It's funny about them calling us "Gallegos", often despectively, I think. Oh, you're right on the last part, Spain is a country that is very different to others as in cultural references and all that(At least from my point of view hehehe)

  • @jet052673 But it's still Spanish; different, but intelligible enough.

HOWEVER... Mexican language refers to the Nahuatl language, which was spoken way before the conquistadores had arrived and up to today by almost 2 million people. It is one of the 63+ indigenous languages of Mexico.

  • Why cant Spanish in school be this quick and productive?

  • @86Timewarp Learning languages in school is the worst system ever. But it is proven that when one is rapidly learning a language they lack in most other mental abilities. Especially math!

  • @86Timewarp Life sucks

  • Vaminos!!

  • 1 word. SPANIARDS

  • Ahh Hahaha Love This<3 Fuck It Ama Buy A Volkwagen (=

  • I Wouldn`t Mind Watching This Commercial 10 Times (: Este Video Me Enseno Espanol lol

  • my favorite commercial lmao

  • What i don't understand is how they don't have to use the restroom. After thirteen hours, come on they would be rushing to it.

  • @Hunter117ization wild man, use the roads and leafs, not bathrooms and paper. lol.

  • @bettyboop17d the point i was trying to get at, was non-stop road trip meaning they didn't stop until out of gas.

  • HAHA best commercial ever!

  • Best commercial I've seen in a long time. It's still funny no matter how many times you watch it.

  • This inspired me to listen to a "how to learn spanish dvd" on my 3 hour trip this thanksgiving. My spanish grade might raise from the failing grade its at if i try harder -_-

  • I speak both languages without an accent in either. Many of us do.

  • Why were people confused by a mexican that looks anglo and speak both languages without an accent?

  • @Mushululuful Because a lot of people don't realize that hispanics can look anything like a brown person, a black person, a "Anglo" or an asian person. They come in all shades just like black people. Porque mucha gente no se da cuenta que los latinos e hispanos pueden parecerse a un blanco, negro, moreno o chino, vienen en todos los colores al igual que la gente negra.

  • @kwkable11 No Sir. Hispanics are proud and don't look black person at all...

  • HAHHA HILARIOUS

  • LOLz. My cousin is the passenger, our grandmother is Mexican...I think she would like this commercial.

  • This is a good synergy between the well known brand with little nuances of American culture, and reaching an even wider segment of buyers: The general market, the acculturated Hispanic. We love hearing commercial in Spanish, it makes us feel connected, Loved it!

  • Am I crazy? Or is that the "Little Mis Sunshine" soundtrack in the background? And if so, nice synergy, considering it's a VW van/microbus that is practically a character in that movie...

  • Lmao!!!

  • this is such a cute commercial! wish it were that easy to learn spanish :-)

  • DEFINITELY suggesting this to my Spanish teacher :P

  • I laugh every time I see this

  • hilarious, love this commercial... just got a great idea to finally get my gang learning spanish...

  • jajajajja yo si entendi.

  • they sound like 2 homo's

  • @liddygirlnm No, you were (almost) right the first time! The correct word is indeed "enunciation".

  • This makes the language nerd in me very happy!

  • 0:21 lol

  • I usually can't stand VW commercials, but this one is hilarious!

  • This is my new favorite commercial. I love the way the one guy says "vamanos" and "gracias" when repeating after the instructor....totally wrong and disengaged. Hilarious!!!

  • @liddygirlnm Yeah, that was funny! But then 13 hours later, they're speaking it perfectly, angrily, accent and all!

  • Hahahahahahhahahaha God I love this

  • i love this commercial i had to email it to all my family and friends.......loved this one.....

  • YAY DeVotchka! When I heard the music in the background, I was yelling at my son, "It's DeVotchka". I have this song set as his ringtone on my phone.

  • @arderasempre1 what's the name of the track, por favor? :)

  • lol this was very funny... I can notice that the 2nd guy may really know how to speak spanish or be from Latin America (I´m too) because he sounds almost with no accent at all.

  • @EduMenaT It sounds to me like both speak spanish without an accent. Beautiful ennunciation (sp?).

    .

  • @liddygirlnm I´m sorry, I didnt understand the last part of your comment ------> (sp?)

  • @EduMenaT I was trying to say annunciation, which I misspelled and probably misused! It probably should have been pronunciation. Sorry!!!

  • i love it ,no music pero quiere unas papitas lol

  • My Spanish teacher showed us this...HAHA

  • Brilliant.
