  • Is that Simba in the background?

  • @KanaidBlack

    no. it's nala.

  • The lionesses are my favorite part of the broadway. Nala's song Shadowland is amazing too.

  • @manugra100 they really r pros, i tried to do the dancing and i think i got like 25% or less right

  • I wish I could be as graceful as those dancers

  • i know this whole song because my school did this play

  • I only can dream to dance and sing this song in those costumes! i hella want to learn this. this makes me want to jump up and dance! gotta learn the lyrics *pulls up google*

  • all those lioness and Mufasa only mated with Sarabi

  • One day I'm going to dance in the Lioness Hunt, give me one or two more years :) My dream will come true. Dreamed about this since I was 6.

  • @CreoleGoddess1 Good luck! :3

  • i wish i had went to take dance. i've always love it. Danceing with the costumes looks hard

  • This has to be one of my favorite songs in the show! I love it when they go nuts with the percussion! Every time I hear the African chants it just makes me want to sing along and keep rhythm with something or dance. I love it!

  • this is so damn beautiful! :3

  • @poppypony789 the head lioness is called the alpha female or domonite female. same goes for the male.

  • is this the original broadway cast??????

  • I love this song! Its so graceful. Thow i agree that sarabi should be more noticeable. other than that i love it. They play the parts of lionesses very well

  • at the end i noticed nala there i was cracking up cause she was so tiny compared to the hunting party im like OMG THERES NALA. I think im gonna try to get on broadway's lion king when i get older

  • I went to see this 2 weeks ago at the Rochester Auditorium Theater. One of my favorite parts of the musical.

*Singing* "We baba zingela siyo zingela baba" (Hunting, we are going hunting)

  • does anyone know what style of dance that is?

  • I just love the little Nala! I went to see the show with my school and I thought she was adorable!! You can kinda see her at the end there:)

  • How in the world were you able to record?!?!!? I tried to take just a picture before the show even started of my boyfriend and I and they all swarmed on me freaking out saying I couldn't :(

  • i would love to ware those costumes even though they looked kinda heavy

  • @mariana97R the costumes are actually really light.

  • @TLMBroadway93 some are very light but then others say like Scar is very heavy because of all the mechanics for the head piece.

  • @mariana97R

    I WANT ONE!!!

  • @mariana97R They're really very light, that's why those people can move such well, we also have to take in account that they are professional dancers. :)

  • @mariana97R I was go to the musical and too i go to backsteage and there the girl explain us that the mask are made up with a not heavy material.

  • thumbs up if u think those costumes r heavy

  • @mariana97R They're actually super light. I got to try on the head set when they toured to Boston a few years back

  • I just adore those costumes :D every slight movement causes a rippel and its so beautiful :D fabulous show :)

  • I think this music is from the lionking simbas mighty adventure for playstation but im not sure

  • @poppypony789

    which one is Sarabi?

  • @WWELURVA101

she is at the very back and is with the second group that enters
