  • The Timothy Dalton movies were the only ones to be Rated a 15 right?

  • @13thcolossi yh spot on

  • A TRULY FITTING DEATH FOR THE NASTIEST BOND VILLIAN EVER BRILLIANTLY PLAYED BY ROBERT DAVI

  • this film was brutal.. and thats why i liked it :D

  • 3:02 what a very conviently placed ramp.

  • He looked at the explosion.

  • the death seems a little edited - just watched the blu ray and its a second or so longer

  • A contrast to how Bond attempted to sniper Sanchez earlier in the film, he wouldn't see it coming nor know who killed him. I like how bond shows him the lighter and sanchez realises his motives before meeting a grisly end.

  • We don't need no water...Let the motherf***** burn!

  • way to cut the brake lines franz, haha

  • tim dalton my first bond film i watched when i was a kid,,, the bit i hated was when the guy got his head blown up in the air compressor chamber thingy... now i cant stop laughing

  • This movie received WAY too much unwarranted criticism. I personally think it's one of the best Bond movies of the series, as Dalton plays Bond exactly as Ian Fleming wrote him - a ruthless killer. Excellent all the way around, good gadgets, a Bond girl who has numerous abilities (and a 12 gauge shotgun), and a very serious performance by Bond. The difference between him and Roger Moore is that Moore never expected the audience to take Bond seriously, and Dalton wanted to change that.

  • @KOHF34 My thoughts exactly!!!

  • @KOHF34 Wasn't ruthless, wouldn't touch women or children, and didn't enjoy killing either, he only did it when he had to.

  • @KOHF34 Can't agree more. Although I prefer The Living Daylights, this was amazing too.

  • The most underated bond film ever. Compare this to Quantum of Solace where Bond also goes rogue and there is literally no contest.

  • @alexkrycek21, People fail to understand that when a movies series has been around for almost 40 years you have to switch up the formula a little from time to time, and Dalton was a great addition to the James bond series, I think after all the over the top movies from the Rodger Moore run, people just weren't ready for a more realistic and brutal version of Bond.

  • @TheDalinkwent It's such a shame people panned him. He's still my favourite Bond and I would've liked to see him in some more Bond films.

  • Some of the most amazing and hair raising stunt work I have ever seen done with the Kenworth W900 eighteen wheeler. Especially when the stunt driver drives the truck with the tanker attached, tilted on it's side. Very close to tipping over. Hard core shit, man.

  • This is a fantastic sequence. It's as good as the truck chase in Raiders.

  • mdr at 00 : 42

  • Timothy Dalton is fucking awesome beyond belief.

If the badassery of Living Daylights didn't cut it, then License to Kill would have to really have to set the record.

  • @blackyoshi1230 DAMN RIGHT!!!

  • hah, listen to how the bullets ricochets sounds like at 0:21

  • @AndreasSWF

Yeah, its metal. Also, those classic ricochet sounds doesnt always happen.

  • Fucking massive action scene, Dalton rocks

  • lol plastic knife =D

  • 8:58

    lol paper truck D=

  • Dalton's Bond was highly underrated. His movies were raw and brutal, and actually had some realism.

He was a good fit for the role.

  • I actually considered him more of a Shakespearian-like 007 with the movie's tone feeling more like a Death Wish-type film as opposed to a 007 film.

It's actually closer to the actual Ian Fleming character

  • yes he was one of the toughest most serious bonds along side Daniel craig and i guess its farewell too arms"

  • Still think this is one of the best truck/car chase scenes ever put to film. No CGi, and all done for real using proper old school film making and stunt driving.

Only major gripe I have with the film is where Sanchez pressurises the barometric chamber then cuts the air line to make matey explode - just wouldn't happen but then it's a movie and movies have to entertain.

  • I really liked this scene and all, but it goes all screwy when Sanchez cuts the compressed air line. Air brakes on big trucks are defaulted to the on position. They require air pressure to keep them open so the wheels can move. So, if he cut the line, the truck would just sit there.

Obviously, this would make for poor action, and it's a movie so I should really just relax.

  • too right! i mean the whole concept of 'WANTED' ain't exactly realistic so what the hell.

  • Good point.

  • @FSoutre um. think about how ridiculous moonraker was then cut this one some slack.

  • Listen at 0:21, the bullets hitting the truck make the sound of the Bond theme!

  • Nice spot dude!

  • Good spot!

  • Probably one of the worst ways for a Bond villain to die... But hey, Sanchez had it coming.

  • what about Stromberg being shot in the bollocks lol

  • Well... Let's hope he had a castration...

  • NICE!! if anyone has watched the original Italian Job you would notice at 3:37 its as same as the bus on the alps!! apart from that its cool!!

  • In the original Italian Job you can hear a street busker playing the main theme (Days Like These) as the Mini's drive by after they are escaping through the city.

  • i know that, im just saying it looks similar to the bus skidding and the back end over the alps thats all

  • and I know that you know....

  • @rolandinthecaves, Not bad. I'm not losing money at poker for a change.

  • @rolandinthecaves I am, thank you.

  • 'sup Cracked? Hope you're having a lovely day.

  • @rolandinthecaves Ha! You got me.

  • @rolandinthecaves Hahahaha

  • @rolandinthecaves WOOT! hell ya !

  • @rolandinthecaves I am, thank you.

  • Nice comment!! man

  • dalton was the best bond after connery

  • agreed.

  • 5 thumbs up.

  • The Daltatator Pwns A Couple Of Bitches

  • love that name; DALTATOR

  • @ARHCxXxOO7 Check out Hot Fuzz and it's commentary. Simon Pegg and Edger Wright call him that all the time

  • How did he make the truck wheelie?

  • there was, and may still be a way of achieving this if you were a very skilled driver. The back part of an unloaded truck is actually incredibly heavy if u apply enough acceleration on the back wheels then lift offf!

  • Actually, the back part of an unloaded truck is very light compared to the rest of the truck, and the back wheels will just spin. I am a truck driver by the way. Thank you for putting this up though!

  • interesting

  • @ARHCxXxOO7 lol maybe he didnt want to stop the truck.

  • Not to mention another giant unreality in the scene: you can just let go of the gas and shift gears for gradual engine braking. The driver had TONS of time to initiate that, and if you know HOW to drive a big rig (harder then most people think, as you know it ain't just a matter of knowing how to work a stick shift) you know how to use engine braking to help stop in an emergency.... such as airbrake failure.

  • 9:43

  • Cracked attack.

  • That's pretty grim.

  • his last line should have been "you're fired"

  • ha way cheesey, more of a roger moore situation.

  • it also works at the end of stars episode 3 (Obi Wan to Anikan)

  • hahahah, or lord of the rings, ROTK frodo to gollum.

  • LOL, I just noticed this is the 2nd time 007 has used a fire extinguisher (The first time was Connery's DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER)

  • Hahahahah I love how when the tanker is being shot it plays the James bond theme

  • i noticed that too, lmao

  • lol nicely spotted

  • Man i wish that flaming car had hit that plane. That would've been awesome. Great scene also.

  • It is amazing to have an accurate car accident scene in a movie. Usually all cars explode from the slightest deviation from the road.

  • Damn pintos!

Most ridiculous car explosion in a movie I ever saw was the cariage explosions in Van Helsing.

  • @LukeL007 thats the thing about dalton's bond films, they are both very realistic

  • Thank you so much m8!!

I love this film and ending!

WE NEED BOND VILLIANS LIKE SANCHEZ!!

  • no worries... 'its just business'

  • My 2nd favourite Bond film, behind The Living Daylights. Very spooky place, the people killed in the bus accident, were actually nuns, the Tankers even when parked, would roll on their own accord, and then there the hand made of fire, in the explosion.

  • please tell me more, im a fan of haunted surroundings.

  • That Road that is used for the Tanker Truck Chase In Licence To Kill is Rumorosa in Mexicali plus the film crew were told by the locals it's a haunted piece of road load's of people have been killed in fatal road accidents & lost their lives.

  • what an interesting fact.. thanks for watching!

  • This scene remdins me the truck chase from "The Raiders of the Lost Ark"

  • thats bloody weird, i was watching that truck scene in RofTlost ARK When i read this! on sky movies!

  • As great as the stunt work is in this sequence, those dodgy back-projection shots take you out of the action sometimes.

  • Ha! You should see Dr. No! You'd be really taken out of the action during the car chase in that. Thnx for commenting.

  • @ARHCxXxOO7

I have seen Dr No, though. It's slightly more forgivable in that though, because it was done in the 60's.

On one of the commentary tracks on the LTK DVD, Carey Lowel says something about the scene where her and Bond escape from the bar-fight on a speed boat, was shot entirely in the studio! The reason being that, Cubby didn't see the point of going out and getting sea-sick for the sake of the shot...

Maybe he had similar reasons for these scenes here, but I don't see how :)

  • God! what a lack of effort for a Bond Movie!

  • @ARHCxXxOO7

Yeah, its pretty lazy... but that was the Broccoli era. The way the films were made started to change bit, around the time of Goldeneye.

  • Here's something interesting: listen in on the sound FX starting at 21 sec., you can hear the Bond theme as Sanchez fires off a few shots at Bond.

  • Lol, must have seen this movie about 40 times and I never noticed that. You really notice it if you look away from the screen when he is doing that.

  • This is a awesome scene!

  • Thanks for uploading, keepup the great work!
