was a bit young to to see them in the pubs, but still loved them . Big time deal for me as a 12 year old was when Fess parker rented the house next door to us.
CLASSIC! In 1978 I was working for a rock radio station in California, and a friend in Oz sent me some Radiators music which of course we gave airplay in heavy rotation including this one! Especially love the riff and cold ending, HOT STUFF!
'Feel the Heat' is such a great album, still listen to it all the time. Took it for granted at the time but now realise how awesome the production is. I'm generally into more heavy stuff than the Rads but this is one of my favourite albums of all time.
GO MOLLY...I remember going down to Bondi Beach - blasting this song on the audio cassette deck, getting pissed with my mates. An Absolutel classic Aussie band!!
Oh my goodness, have seen them numerous times and will never tire, still got their first cassette from college, hehe, mixed with the oils, angels, dockers, ahh, definately good memories... XO
YES YES YES!!! I do have some brain cells left! I can remember this clearly, yes I'm older than God. Fabulous Aussie Pub bands around at this time, it was so cool, every Saturday night, The Angels, Rose Tattoo, MiSex, The Church, Midnight Oil, Jo Jo Zepp, Sunnyboys, Aussie Crawl...it just never ended. Till one day it ended, lol!
Yeah I was LOL & I am proud *blush*.....her school had an 80's night & Brian and one of his sons were playing along with some of the Teachers...He's a really nice guy.....she didn't know he was in a band & told me he should go on TV as he'd win Idol becuse he has a really, really good singing voice....I enlightened her & played his album &she said that though he's in a band she thinks he's better as the GAcuz he keeps the school nice & clean (she's 8 LOL)
"Benchmark of aussie punk"I love the rads with a passion bro but thats a very bold statement what about The Saints, Radio Birdman, The Oils, Celibate rifles, Lime Spiders to name but only a few...
Saintandrew83, The Rads are still touring. Worth the live view, seen them many times, never disappointed. They have a web site for gig dates......cheers.
civil.. right with you man plenty of times i played sitting in my arm chair when my frankfurt was right up a cheese taco.. good work brother..kazz i know its two months ago but get over your homo shit... this is about music dropkick.....
I watched these guys play at North Nowra Tavern last year... they have just gotten better with age! IMO, they are one of the few bands that are just as satisfying live on stage as they are in the studio.
i used to see them in vic, awsome live loe to hear fess song aswell as gimme head,,what a time we had, following gigs of there's in vic and rose tatts..thanx for finding this one!!
