@Controlfreak9989 It does severe damage to the brain when used for to long, causing the brain to not work properly and occasionally causing hallucinations. The brain damage can apparently also make your eyes and nose bleed. If used for to long the brain just kinda shuts down. It's why Norman chokes to death when using them for to long because the brain just stops the breathing process.

They've even gotten to inserting planar patches of text into real-time images.

Otherwise, all we got are head-mounted displays.

@HLimmen Yes that is a pair of glasses but, google "ARI glasses" and you will soon find out that those glasses are connected to the brain, by being connected to the brain it is also connected to the nerv system and by being connected to the nerv system makes it able to pick up different senses.

I believe the hallucinations, nose and eye bleed are symptoms of his chronic use of Tripto. And he is suffering from withdrawal like symptoms. WHen he alludes to making the pain go away, it's the equivalent of shooting up when going through smack withdrawal. Also, in withdrawals or DT's, sufferers are known to hallucinate.

Nope, the Triptocaine makes it worse. He uses it because he suffers a lot because of the ARI, so the Triptocaine 'makes the pain go away'. You can see it, when he uses it one time his eyes are starting to bleed when he overdoses ARI.
