Chrono Ark did not get scrapped, the folks "making" it renamed it out of fear of legal reprisal. You are better off, I was on the team as a mapper until I read the script and lost all will to help and eventually quit. If you like Mary Sue's and constant stock anime dialog, you're in for a treat.

The last square-enix game I purchased was drakengard. I've played a few games theyve made since that I consider masterpieces (kingdom hearts 2), but more times then not the games they make just suck and don't even come close to the magic of the old days when they had to compete against one another. i don't understand why square would do this?? do they realize how powerful the Chrono series is?! they only have two in the series!!! also...if they made a new one not only would devoted fans come running, but there would be a whole new base of fans (mostly because CT was re-released on DS)...Chrono Trigger is legendary and Square doesn't even notice how many CT fans there are!! they shot down two projects made by fans!!! Square-Enix are pushing away their fans!

Chrono Crisis is now Theoria, a non-Chrono game, though it should be similar in spirit from my understanding. Chrono Ark is back on track as Chrono Ark, however.
